Abstract:
A pump intended to be mounted on a bottle, so as to allow the dispensing of a liquid contained in the bottle, includes a needle for closing an ejection orifice that is separate from a dosing sleeve. The needle is mounted on the sleeve by a device for the reversible movement of the needle between a closure position and an ejection position, the device being actuated by interference between the sleeve and a piston when a push button is moved on a hoop.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a pump for a liquid product dispenser, which includes a reservoir and interacts with a manually actuatable element provided with an injection orifice. The pump includes a body embodied in the form of a single piece and including a seat which covers the reservoir and is provided with an intake orifice and a flap, which is mounted on the seat by a joint associated with an elastic bellows which enables the flap to be reversibly tilted towards the seat, by pressing on the actuating element, in such way that the injection orifice is opened and the intake orifice is simultaneously closed.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device which is used for the non-vented dispensing of liquid products from a container including a mobile base, an exhaust conduit and a push element which co-operates with a piston and a return spring. The invention is characterized in that the device includes a sealing and dosing bush bearing a sealing needle valve which can move in translation in a discharge channel in the bush, the needle valve being connected by means of a drive link to an axial guide rod which can slide in the exhaust conduit of the container that is connected to the channel by pressing on the bush and compressing the spring.
Abstract:
A spray discharge cap for a sprayer having a valve, comprising: a spray release top attachment including a retainer ring and an actuation element which is hinged to said retainer ring, an outlet tube having an outlet opening and an inlet opening that is connected to said valve, a piston element movably disposed in said outlet tube which is in a position closing said outlet opening if said actuation element is not depressed, and which is movable inside said outlet tube via a dog mechanism, wherein said dog mechanism interacts with said actuation element in such a way that if said actuation element is depressed said piston element is in a position releasing said outlet opening.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a dispensing device which can be used to dispense a metered volume of a flowable material such as a liquid, gel or paste product from a reservoir. The invention provides a pump for dispensing a flowable material from a container, the pump including a pump body which is deformable between a rest configuration and a squeezed configuration, the internal capacity of the pump body being substantially reduced in the squeezed configuration compared to the rest configuration.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a pumping device (110) and a cosmetic bottle using the same. More specifically the present invention relates to a pumping device (110) in which an inserting bar (132) is formed in a upper cap (130) of a nozzle (136) and the nozzle (136) is moved forward and backward according to a pumping operation so that an opening of the nozzle is kept from being clogged by hardening of the gel-type contents.

Abstract:
The present invention is a cosmetic or dermatological preparation for use with a dispenser that includes an auxiliary to keep the dispenser operating smoothly. The auxiliary is selected from the group consisting of (i) polyols having 2 to 6 carbon atoms and 2 to 6 hydroxyl or alkoxy groups and (ii) surfactants that reduce the surface tension of the preparation to less than 30 mN/m. The preparation is particularly suitable with a dispenser comprising a container and an inner container wall for housing a cosmetic or dermatological preparation; a follow-up plunger on a base side of the dispenser, which is capable of being slidably displaced on the inner container wall under the pressure of the ambient atmosphere; a head section on a top end of the dispenser that can be slidably displaced in relation to the container and that comprises a dispensing channel, the dispensing channel capable of being connected in a communicating manner to the container; a manually actuable delivery device comprising a variable-volume delivery chamber, a delivery element that can be displaced longitudinally in relation to the container and the head section, comprising a delivery plunger that can be slidably displaced within the delivery chamber and a delivery stem connected to the delivery plunger, and a delivery channel circumferentially enclosed by the delivery stem and comprising a delivery-channel inlet opening communicating with the delivery chamber and a delivery-channel outlet opening. The delivery channel outlet opening is capable of being moved into an open position relative to the dispensing channel by displacing the delivery element.
Abstract:
A dispenser pump e.g. for toothpaste has a plunger (21) connected to a proximal end of an elongate flexible plastics strip (22) which is run slidably along a guide track built into the discharge nozzle (14) of the pump alongside the discharge channel (63). The distal end of the guide track defines a bend which opens through a lateral slot into the discharge channel (63) just inside its external opening. Action of the plunger causes the strip (22) to slide back and forth along the track and round the bend, so that the tip of the strip is moved out of the mouth of the nozzle during dispensing but returns to block it and cut away residual product when the plunger is released.
