    摘要： A workpiece ejecting device for a machine tool, in which the ejecting bar cannot be rotatably driven at the time of high velocity rotation of the spindle to thereby prevent occurrence of vibration, noise and frictional heat, and so that the workpiece can be ejected smoothly. The workpiece ejecting device comprises: a front bearing unit installed at an inner peripheral surface of a front end portion of the drawing tube; an ejecting cylinder located behind the chucking cylinder and installed directly on an axial line identical with that of the front bearing unit, and an ejecting rod, wherein the ejecting rod is provided at a center axis thereof with at least one fluid passing opening through which fluid for removing alien materials is supplied, and a front end of the ejecting rod is installed to be supported by the front bearing unit.

The jig further has an elongated bolt for transporting individual blanks from the storage channel to the front end of the housing. Respective first and second pistons located inside the housing are provided for operating the split collet and the elongated bolt. The split collet is movably received within the housing and is not formed by a section thereof.

    摘要： There is disclosed herein an improved tool holder/adapter for use in a mechanical and automatic machine tool. The machine tool includes: (1) a drive spindle; and (2) a rotary turret for releasably storing a plurality of tool holder/adapters. Each holder/adapter is secured to the turret by a set of radially movable locking pins which are cammed to a radially outward position. There is also provided a set of axially movable travel limit stop pins for cooperation in maintaining the locking pins in a radially outward position. The travel limit stop pins cooperate with the spindle for releasing the locking pins and permitting them to move radially inwardly so as to release the tool holder/adapter from the turret. The stop pin construction and location combine to provide both positive and blocking engagement between the lock pin and stop pin so as to prevent unintentional inward movement of the lock pin and possible unintentional holder/adapter-turret disengagement.

    摘要： A tool holding assembly wherein a self-locking chuck or tool holder is releasably secured in a rotary spindle by a draw bar and collet type tool holder gripping means. The self-locking chuck is provided with a spring-biased, ball locking means that functions as a safety retainer means for holding the chuck or tool holder in the spindle in case of a breakage of the collet type tool holder gripping means. The spindle is provided with a tapered seat against which the balls of the ball locking means are normally urged by a spring biased plunger that is movable to a ball unlocking position by the draw bar.

The adapter-insert includes an upper-disc, a tubular-body, a lower-disc, and a set-screw-receiver. The upper-disc includes an upper-face, a lower-face, an outer-circumference, and an upper-aperture. The lower-disc includes an upper-surface, a lower-surface, an external-circumference, and an internal-circumference. The tubular-body includes an outside-circumference, an inside-circumference, an upper-rim, and a lower-rim.
