The packaging system may also include a second box part having a plurality of tray walls, where a first tray wall comprises a channel sized to slidably receive the latch. The channel may include an assembly channel segment and a locking channel segment, where the assembly channel segment intersects an edge of the first tray wall. Further, the second box part may be configured to fit within the first box part such that a) the assembly channel segment is aligned with the latch when the latch is in a first position within the aperture, and b) the latch is slidable within the locking channel segment to a second position.

The seal has a securing member and a blade portion. The securing member goes into the first receiving channel of the lid to connect the seal to the lid. The blade portion of the seal contacts the interior surface of the sidewall. The exterior surface of the sidewall contacts the second receiving channel. The sidewall of the storage receptacle is within the second receiving channel. The blade portion forms a generally fluid tight seal with the sidewall while the sidewall contacts the second receiving channel.

    摘要： Two embodiments of a molded plastic container/closure combination are described. Each can be structured to provide a child resistant opening feature and, optionally, a tamper-evident feature. In both embodiments, the closure has radially extending bayonets arranged around an outer skirt, which bayonets can be rotated into a position underlying semi-annular ribs in a beam molded integrally with the sidewall of the container. Rotation of the closure in the unlocking direction is opposed by a structure which requires depression of a release tab downwardly. In one embodiment, depression of the release tab requires that a frangible element first be fractured and removed from the container sidewall. In the second embodiment, depressing the release tab is made possible by a living hinge formed on one side of the release tab.

    摘要： A rotary airtight container having a body, a lid that covers the opening of the body, a cover plate connected to the underside of the lid, a lifting mechanism for driving the cover plate to move with respect to the lid, a circumferential cone-shaped seal ring positioned all around the lid, and a tapered annular interface that on the bottom of the lid and engages the seal ring. As the lifting mechanism drives the cover plate to lift relative to the lid, the cone-shaped seal ring lifts relative to the lid and moves upwards along the tapered annular interface to seal the space between the tapered annular interface and the opening of the container, thus isolating the inside of the container from outside. This container changes the ordinary way of sealing that uses a locking nut for tightly pressing on the opening of the container, and is easier to operate.

    摘要： A closure for a container comprises a circular closure plate (2, 4), integral with the outer edge of which is a depending skirt (8), integrally connected to the lower end of which by means of a resilient annular integral hinge (10) is an annular flange (12), which extends generally upwardly and inwardly. The closure also includes a cutter assembly which includes a cutting blade (38) and is mounted to rotate about the centre of the closure plate (2, 4). The integral hinge (10) has a hole formed in it through which the cutting blade (38) extends. Rotation of the cutter assembly about the centre of the closure plate thus results in cutting of the integral hinge (10) and thus in release of the closure plate (2, 4) and the depending skirt (8) from the annular flange (12).
