    摘要： A resiliently flexible construction beam includes a pair of lateral flange portions and a web extending therebetween, preferably, but not necessarily, so as to present a cross-sectional profile corresponding to commonly used construction beam members (e.g., 2″×4″ or 2″×6″). The resilience of the beam helps to attenuate sound transmission through the beam from one lateral member to the other. In particular, in a wall frame, beams according to the present invention are mounted at opposite ends thereof to end plates. In one example, the end plates include slits into which the webs of the beams can be received. The resilient web according to the present invention is conveniently made from a unitary piece of material such as, for example, steel.

    摘要： The invention relates to a wall board suitable for fixing to two profiles (1) extending vertically along the edges of the wall board (5), wherein the wall board is adapted for gripping by the profiles in form-fitting manner. As a result of this step no use need be made of fixing means which grip directly onto the wall board itself, so that damage of the wall board itself is avoided, and the boards with the profiles are completely re-usable. It is even possible to arrange finishes on the boards before assembly. According to a preferred embodiment the gripping means are formed on at least a first edge of the wall board (5) by noses (12) arranged on the profile, wherein a groove for the profile extends partially between the nose and the wall board.

    摘要： A fastening clip for securing a wall panel or the like to a suitable supporting structure, such as a stud having flanges parallel to and supporting the panel, the fastening clip being constructed such that it will provide a strong support for holding the panel firmly against the support with a force greater than that which the clip in normal flexure would permit, yet be readily flexible with a much less force to permit the panel to be put in place. The clip is further constructed such that a panel, which cannot readily be moved laterally to any great degree to engage the clip with the support, may be engaged with the support by moving the edge of the panel directly toward the support, in a direction substantially normal to the facing surfaces of the panel and support.
