摘要: A wall surfacing system for providing a secondary ceiling or wall covering structure adjacent a primary structure. The system provides a plurality of elongated structural support rails, each of these support rails have a coupling web with a bearing surface for attachment to the primary structure, a coupling mechanism, and a stringer portion integrally formed with and connecting the coupling web to the coupling mechanism. A plurality of generally planar surface panels are provided. Each panel has an integral interlocking member configured to mate with the coupling mechanism on the support rail. The elongated support rails are secured to primary structures, thereby extending the surface panels to form an aesthetically pleasing covered surface.

摘要: A method covers at least a portion of a surface of an existing structure with a repair structure. The method comprises: providing a standoff, the standoff elongated in a longitudinal direction and operable from an open configuration to a closed configuration; while the standoff is in the open configuration, mounting the standoff to the existing structure, such that the standoff projects outwardly away from the surface of the existing structure; closing the standoff to the closed configuration, the closing of the standoff forming a standoff connector; and coupling a cladding panel to the standoff by engaging the panel with the standoff connector at a location spaced outwardly apart from the surface of the existing structure by a void.

摘要: An integrated fiber cement and foam cladding system is provided that incorporates foam or similar light weight material to improve the insulation capacity of the cladding system. The system includes at least a fiber cement layer and a foam layer disposed on the backside of the fiber cement layer. The system improves the R-value of the building, a measure of the building's resistance to transferring heat or thermal energy.

摘要: An assembly for coping and mounting trim molding is provided. A trim holding device for mounting a finish trim molding and a coping device are provided. The coping device includes a platform, having a back, into which to place a finish trim molding for coping and cutting, and a blade assembly having a cutter blade and configured to be manually actuated by a lever. The blade assembly is adjustable and is configured to rotate. The cutter blade is configured specifically to a size and a shape of the finish trim molding to be cut and coped. The mounting device includes a bracket, having a pair of mounting flanges, configured for placement along a wall. The bracket and flanges form generally an “F” shape trim holding device. The flanges are configured to securely hold a finish trim molding without the use of nails, glues, and adhesives.

摘要: Typical brick veneers are usually constructed aid of an adhesive and for attachment of the brick to a panel. The present invention allows for a mechanical installation of thin brick veneers using conventional brick materials and natural stone tiles. The present invention also allows for the construction of a water channel and a space for injecting foam insulation. The present invention allows for a quicker and simpler method of installation of brick veneer and reduces material costs while improving on conventional brick veneer functionality.
