    摘要： A system for opening and closing at least one door in furniture, rooms and the like, involves the use of a vertical rod from which arms extend that engage slidingly with the door, the bottom of the door being fitted with wheels so that, in order to open the door and by rotating the arms, the door is moved from the closed position into a position in which it is displaced outwards. The door is then slid back over the arms until the opened position is reached. This door opening and closing system does not require any space in front of the door and, in cases where there are multiple doors, allows one door to be in perfect alignment with another door. Furthermore, it is both structurally simple and easy to operate.

The horizontal endless screw engages a threaded aperture in a slide translationally movable in the rail, wherein the slide is connected by a single connecting rod to an inner arm positioned on the vehicle door. The arm is oriented towards an inside of the vehicle body such that the single connecting rod is at an angle of less than about 25.degree. to the horizontal endless screw. Opening the vehicle door is initiated by a substantially outward transverse translation of at least part of the vehicle door.

    摘要： The present invention is drawn to guide structure in a piece of furniture having a group of sliding doors including first and second doors alternately disposed in a coplanar relation when in respective closed positions thereof. Each first door is slidably guided in a lateral direction by 2 first group of guide members via rigid connecting elements connected thereto and sliding elements in sliding engagement with the first group of guide members. Each of the second doors is not only slidably guided in the lateral direction by a second group of guide members but is forwardly shiftable in the piece of furniture via articulating parallelogram linkages connected thereto and sliding elements in sliding engagement with the second group of guide members. A third group of longitudinal guide members are disposed adjacent and extend parallel to the first and second groups of guide members. The third group of longitudinal guide members has an arcuate portion which, when engaged by the sliding unit, positions a respective second door at the closed position thereof. When the sliding unit is moved off of the arcuate portion, the second door is shifted forwardly under the articulation of the parallelogram linkage connected thereto.

    摘要： A moveable, rollaway door or window panel is provided in a structure having one moveable panel and one fixed panel. The moveable panel, when in its closed position, is substantially co-planar with the fixed panel; and when in its fully open position, it is substantially co-extensive with and on the interior side of the fixed panel. A pair of control rods, one at each side, is concealed within the sash structure of the moveable panel, and is secured at its top and bottom ends to a cam member. Each cam member has a guide member which co-operates with a guide track, and is rotatable with respect thereto. The cam members at the upper ends of the control rod are connected to each other by a tie rod or cable in such a way that rotation of one of the control rods causes an equal rotation in the same direction of rotation of the other of the control rods, thereby assuring planar movement of all four corners of the moveable panel. The structure therefore combines features of both sliding and casement window or door installations.

A support arm is mounted at one end in the track for travelling movement along the track by a connecting means which retains the arm generally perpendicular to the track during part of the travelling movement. The connecting means also permits rotation of the arm about an axis perpendicular to the common plane of the track and arm in one end region of the track. The connecting means comprises a ball roller mounted on the arm for rolling movement along the track when the arm is generally perpendicular to the track. The ball roller also permits rotation of the connecting means about the axis perpendicular to the common plane of the arm and the track. A holding means engages the connecting means to prevent such rotation when the connecting means is not positioned in the end region of the track.
