Abstract: A stabilizing assembly includes a retaining device settled between a drawable carrier and a cabinet body for preventing the drawable carrier from swinging in sliding. The retaining device includes two rails fixed to two opposite laterals of the drawable carrier. Each of the rails has a rack. Two gears engaging with the racks are connected by a rod and rotate simultaneously. Two bushes at two ends of the rod are received in supporting seats that are fixed on the cabinet body or the drawable carrier and allowed to shift vertically. Two stop portions, as a stop unit, each extending from the rail toward a side of the rod opposite to another side of the rod facing the rack on the rail are closely adjacent to the retained portions so that the bushes are retained and stopped by the stop unit, and disengagement between the racks and the gears is prevented.

Abstract: A power-operated system for actuating the rear doors or liftgates of motor vehicles includes a strut assembly having two struts, each strut mounted on one side of the door between the door and the vehicle's door frame. One end of each strut is connected to a powered rotating arm. To open the door, the rotating arms change the angular orientation of the struts such that they have a substantial mechanical advantage. In this position, the force provided by the struts overcomes the weight bias of the door, thus opening the door. To close the door, the rotating arms change the angular orientation of the struts such that the struts have a decreased mechanical advantage, reducing the force provided by the struts, and therefore causing the door to fall closed under its own weight bias. A control system for controlling the power-operated system is also disclosed.

The cable redirecting device is rotatably mounted on the fixed device and adapted to automatically lock onto the fixed device upon reaching a predetermined angular position.
