摘要： A torch includes a can. A valve is movably installed on the can between a closed position and an open position. A controlling device is movably installed on the can between a releasing position for leaving the valve in the closed position and a lifting position for lifting the valve to the open position. A mount covers the valve so that the fuel can reach the mount from the valve. A nozzle is installed on the mount so that the fuel can reach the nozzle from the mount. An igniter is installed on the can. A switch is installed on the controlling device so that the controlling device and the igniter can only be pushed through the switch after the switch is turned relative to the controlling device.

摘要： A coupling for attaching a fuel canister to an appliance such as a torch is provided that comprises a first connector on the canister. The first connector comprises a first set of screw threads where the first set of screw threads are interrupted to define a shape. A second connector is provided on the appliance or torch where the second connector comprises a locking element. The locking element has a matching shape that matches the shape such that the locking element closely receives the first connector when the first connector is in a first orientation relative to the second connector. A method of using the coupling is also provided where the appliance is rotated relative to the canister less than 360 degrees.

摘要： A dry safety device for an inflammable gas comprises a case main body having a gas passage which terminates at one end in a primary side open port connectable to a source of inflammable gas and terminates at the other end in a secondary side open port connectable to a gas-fired appliance. A spindle undergoes sliding movement in the case main body between an open position for opening the gas passage and a closed position for closing the gas passage, and a spindle spring normally urges the spindle to the open position and permits the spindle to move to the closed position in response to a counter-flow pressure exerted on the spindle by a counter flow of inflammable gas directed from the secondary side open port to the primary side open port. A flame-extinguishing filter disposed in the gas passage extinguishes a back fire that may occur during a counter flow of inflammable gas, and a normally open shutoff valve disposed in the gas passage upstream from the filter closes the gas passage when an ambient temperature exceeds a given value.

摘要： A self-extinguishing torch for use in theatrical environments includes a supporting basket having a support for torch fuel. The supporting basket includes a screen providing side ventilation for containing torch fuel on the support and admitting air through the side ventilation to burn torch fuel. The supporting basket has fuel, which provides torch lighting. A container having an opening for receiving, surrounding, and containing the supporting basket has a handhold remote from the container for permitting the container to be held by a hand. A normally closed top is provided for moving from an open position to a closed position over the container with the supporting basket therein. The normally closed top is biased to the open position when the supporting basket protrudes from the container at the normally closed top. A spring biases the supporting basket from a burning position exterior of the container to the opening of the container for receiving, surrounding and extinguishing the supporting basket interior of the container. A deadman on the container having an aperture engages a protuberance on the handhold. It maintains the supporting basket extended from the container with the normally closed top in the open position. When the deadman at the handhold is released, the deadman springs free of the protuberance. This biases the supporting basket into container occurs with closing of the normally closed top to extinguish the torch fuel in the supporting basket of the torch.

摘要： A handy gas torch includes a fuel container, a fuel gas control device, a piezoelectric device, a securing plate, a supporting frame, a burning, and a top cover. During operation, a knob of the fuel gas control device is turned so that fuel in the fuel container is drawn up by a suction tube of a gas supply device. The fuel gas passes through a tube neck of the fuel gas control device, a guide hole, a gas output tube to a fuel gas nozzle of the burning device and then fills a channel. By turning an adjusting knob to bring a knob hole into alignment with an air intake hole, air is induced into the channel to mix with the fuel gas. The fuel mixture is ejected by a fire nozzle of a fire ejecting device. Upon the user's pressing a press handle of the piezoelectric device to cause a boss on a press plate to press against a piezoelectric means, sparks are generated by a lead wire on one side of the fire nozzle to ignite the fuel mixture for burning purposes.
