Abstract:
An infrared imaging device includes an imaging element including a plurality of infrared detection pixels which are two-dimensionally arranged, a diaphragm, and a FPN calculation unit which acquires a first captured image data obtained by capturing an image using the imaging element in a state in which an F-number of the diaphragm is set to a first value and a second captured image data obtained by capturing an image using the imaging element in a state in which the F-number is set to a second value while a motion picture is being captured, and calculates fixed pattern noise included in captured image data obtained by capturing an image using the imaging element based on the acquired first captured image data, the acquired second captured image data, the first value, and the second value.
Abstract:
A method of visually measuring the brightness of ambient lighting around a display device is disclosed. In this method, first, a reference brightness of the display device is determined according to a type of display device. Thereafter, information about locations where the display device is used is received from the user, and illuminance values of the display device corresponding to brightness stages are set based on the reference brightness and the location information. Then, a reference brightness is converted into each of the illuminance values corresponding to each of the brightness stages. The converted images with the illumination values corresponding to the brightness stages are displayed to the user, and an image that has a brightness value nearest to the brightness of ambient lighting is selected, and the brightness value of the selected image is determined as the brightness of ambient lighting.
Abstract:
A hand held and hand operated apparatus for analysis of the relationship between numerical values and displayed greyscale of pixels making up an image matrix. The apparatus has a pair of relatively movable members that are located relative to each other to display a greyscale in comparison relationship to window and level scales used to provide rapid analysis of a greyscale distribution of a given image. The members comprise a first cylindrical member concentrically accommodating a cylindrical sleeve. The first member has viewing ports ruled with scales representing values of selected window and level. The sleeve has the greyscale which can be selectively longitudinally and rotatably positioned relative to a viewing port to provide analysis information concerning the greyscale distribution of an image, such as the image on an X-ray film or displayed on a CRT.
Abstract:
Reference light having a first color within a predetermined spectral range is combined with a colored part of the light to be measured which has passed through a filter having a second color within a spectral range complementary to the predetermined range. When the combined light assumes a third color, the brightness of the measured light is equal to the predetermined brightness of the reference light. Reflecting grid surfaces are used for deflecting the reference light into the path of the colored part of the measured light.
Abstract:
A signal component amount calculation unit calculates dispersion or standard deviation of multiple times of infrared detection signals detected by each detector element to be processed, and calculates the amount of a signal component dependent on infrared rays incident on the infrared detector included in the infrared detection signals, on the basis of the calculated dispersion or standard deviation. A fixed pattern noise calculation unit calculates the amount of a fixed pattern noise component on the basis of the infrared detection signals and the calculated amount of a signal component. A data update unit updates the fixed pattern noise data with the calculated amount of a fixed pattern noise component.
