    摘要: The invention relates to various ways in which to integrate control valves into the structure of a heat exchanger. Accordingly, there is provided a heat exchanger assembly comprising a heat exchanger and a valve integration unit. The heat exchanger includes a plurality of alternating first and second fluid passages in heat exchange relation, and at least one inlet manifold and one outlet manifold interconnected by one of the plurality of first or second fluid passages, the valve integration unit being fixedly attached to heat exchanger and comprising a fluid passage in fluid communication with at least one of the inlet and outlet manifolds. A valve mechanism is mounted within the valve integration unit in fluid communication with the fluid passage, the valve mechanism controlling the flow of a heat exchange fluid through said fluid passage.

    摘要: The compensation element is compensating for temperature-conditioned length changes of an object. An injection valve that is fully functional in the entire range of the operating temperatures of a motor requires a device that compensates thermally conditioned length changes of the mechanical components (piezo-electric actuator, valve lifter, housing, etc.). This device should be capable of absorbing great forces and allow a stiff bearing of the actuator. The compensation element (3) has an oil-filled chamber (21) is composed of an actuator-side upper part (18), of a lower part (19) supported on a stiff bearing (valve housing 17), and of a structure (annular seal element 20) sealing the chamber (21) and yielding in an axial direction. Since the compensation element (3) is fitted into an annular holder (4) with little lateral play, every temperature-conditioned change of the oil or, respectively, chamber volume results in a displacement of the upper housing part (18) in an axial direction that is proportional to the volume change. As a result of a corresponding dimensioning of the chamber height, temperature-conditioned length changes of the valve housing (4) and of the piezo-electric actuator (2) can be compensated using the extremely compactly constructed and comparatively rigid compensation element (3).

    摘要: This shower head serves to replace existing shower heads, and when the water becomes too hot for safety, it is so designed, that it will stop the hot water flow from striking the bather. It consists primarily of a fixed thermostat, which, when expanded, will cause a disc attached to a piston to be, by water pressure, urged against an opening, to cut off the water flow on the bather, and the hot water is then shut off at its source by the bather. The head further includes a lower passageway leading to a depressible relief valve, for releasing the hot water from the thermostat area, so as to enable the thermostat to reset.
