摘要: Systems, including methods and apparatus, for generating audio effects based on accompaniment audio produced by live or pre-recorded accompaniment instruments, in combination with melody audio produced by a singer. Audible broadcast of the accompaniment audio may be delayed by a predetermined time, such as the time required to determine chord information contained in the accompaniment signal. As a result, audio effects that require the chord information may be substantially synchronized with the audible broadcast of the accompaniment audio. The present teachings may be especially suitable for use in karaoke systems, to correct and add sound effects to a singer's voice that sings along with a pre-recorded accompaniment track.

摘要: This invention is directed to a tone shifting device that includes an analog to digital (A/D) converter configured to receive an audio output from a musical instrument to convert it into a digital signal and to pass it to a computing unit; an input device configured to allow a player to select at least one note to be shifted in real time 10 during playing a musical instrument; a computing unit configured to receive the input signal from the A/D converter and a second input from the input device and to shift a selected note/s to a lower/higher tone in real time during playing; a digital to analog (D/A) converter configured to receive the signals from the computing unit and convert them to analog form; and an amplifier configured to receive the analog 15 signal from said D/A converted and play the played modified music through a loudspeaker of the amplifier. The tone shifting device allow selective shifting of a selected musical note in real time during playing.

摘要: An electronic musical instrument includes a plurality of keys respectively specifying different pitches when operated; a memory; and a sound processor. In response to a current operation of a current key, which is one of the plurality of keys, the sound processor retrieves the information stored in the memory for a previous operation, if any, of a previous key, which is a same as the current key or is another one of the plurality of keys, and performs a prescribed processing on a beginning part of the waveform data generated for the current operation of the current key in accordance with the retrieved information stored in the memory for the previous operation of the previous key so as to generate processed waveform data in response to the current operation of the current key. The resulting processed waveform data can be configured to better mimic artists' performance of an original instrument.

摘要: The pedal steel guitar has a plurality of strings strung across the body, with at least one multi-element transducer positioned proximate the strings. At least one foot pedal or knee lever, carried by the body and being physically disengaged from the plurality of strings, is coupled to at least one sensor that produces an electronic sensor signal when the pedal or lever is moved. A digital signal processor receives the electronic transducer signal and the electronic sensor signal and operates on the electronic transducer signal in the digital domain. The processor uses the electronic sensor signal to manipulate at least one tonal property of the electronic sensor signal. The digital signal processor produces an audio output. The digital signal processor is programmed to change the manner in which the digital signal processor manipulates the at least one tonal property based on programming information received through a programming input.

摘要: Systems and methods herein utilize psychoacoustic principles to process audio signals to achieve a desired result. In some embodiments, an exemplary process utilizes a combination of re-harmonization and auditory processing techniques in which a plurality of filtered audio cues are sampled, created and down-mixed into a final music file output, which may be designed to trigger specific effects on the function of the body and the brain. In some embodiments, enhanced audio material may be altered during the stream or fixed for a desired result at the beginning of the stream. In some embodiments, a signal enhancement process may be embedded into silicon or a media player, decoder or device with software. In other embodiments, audio or video material may be encoded or finalized into the media file.
