摘要: A sound control device capable of allowing a user to perceive sound by physical tension and relaxation is provided. The sound control device may include an interface portion 15 for receiving a load input indicating a load size perceived by a user due to user operation; and a control portion 50 for outputting a sound to a speaker 40 corresponding to the load input received by the interface portion 15. The control portion 50 may output a dominant tone sound to the speaker 40 in a first state where the size of the load indicated by the load input is larger than a predefined size. The control portion 50 may output a tonic tone sound to the speaker 40 in a second state where the size of the load indicated by the load input has decreased to less than the predefined size of the first state.

摘要: A user interface implemented on a touch-sensitive display for a virtual musical instrument comprising a plurality of chord touch regions configured in a predetermined sequence, each chord touch region corresponding to a chord in a musical key and being divided into a plurality of separate touch zones, the plurality of chord touch regions defining a predetermined set of chords, where each of the plurality of separate touch zones in each region is associated with one or more preselected MIDI files stored in a computer-readable medium. In some embodiments, the touch zones are configured to provide different harmonic configurations of a base chord associated with the chord touch region. Some harmonic configurations provide progressively wider harmonic ranges across each adjacent touch zone. Other harmonic configurations can provide chords with a progressively higher relative pitch across each adjacent touch zone.

摘要: In a music reproducing apparatus for converting audio data into audio data of different data format so as to reproduce it, gapless reproduction and cross-fade reproduction are performed in a switching manner, and generation of a noise at time of the gapless reproduction is repressed. When a reproducing section performs the gapless reproduction, a converting section performs conversion into PCM data to be reproduced latterly using a buffer used for conversion into the PCM data to be reproduced formerly. Further, when the reproducing section performs the cross-fade reproduction, the converting section generates a buffer different from the buffer used for the conversion into the PCM data to be reproduced formerly in a storage section, and performs the conversion into the PCM data to be reproduced latterly using the generated buffer.

摘要: Techniques are disclosed relating to generating music content. In one embodiment, a method includes determining one or more musical attributes based on external data and generating music content based on the one or more musical attributes. Generating the music content may include selecting from stored sound loops or tracks and/or generating new tracks based on the musical attributes. Selected or generated sound loops or tracks may be layered to generate the music content. Musical attributes may be determined in some embodiments based on user input (e.g., indicating a desired energy level), environment information, and/or user behavior information. Artists may upload tracks, in some embodiments, and be compensated based on usage of their tracks in generating music content. In some embodiments, a method includes generating sound and/or light control information based on the musical attributes.

摘要: Systems and methods for mixing music are disclosed. Audio mix information is received from a plurality of users. Mix rules are determined from the audio mix information from the plurality of users, wherein the mix rules include a first mix rule associated with a first audio item. The first mix rule relates to an overlap of the first audio item with another audio item. The first mix rule is made available to one or more clients. In some implementations, making the first mix rule available to the one or more clients includes transmitting, to the first client, information enabling the first client to playback a transition between the first audio item and the second audio item in accordance with the first mix rule.

摘要: Exemplary embodiments of methods and apparatuses to correlate changes in one audio signal to another audio signal are described. A first audio signal is outputted. A second audio signal is received. The second audio signal may be stored in a memory buffer. The first audio signal is correlated to conform to the second audio signal. The first audio signal may be dynamically correlated to match with the second audio signal while the second audio signal is received. At least in some embodiments, a size of a musical time unit of the second audio signal is determined to correlate the first audio signal. At least in some embodiments, the adjusted first audio signal is stored in another memory buffer.

摘要: An advanced MIDI/audio processing system with virtual key-switches. The virtual key-switches are mapped to different musical concepts. As a user presses a key-switch in real time with the playing of musical notes, the musical concept mapped to the key-switch that was pressed is applied. The instrument then switches to a new playing state based on the particular musical concept that was applied. Furthermore, the system is configured to provide a smooth transition between dynamic levels when applying crescendo or diminuendo effects via a modulation wheel. The system also configured to provide enhanced cycling of alternate samples by providing an individual alternate cycle for each note of each articulation in each dynamic level. Furthermore, the system is configured to allow a user to store and recall specific cycle positions, and override an existing cycle to choose a specific alternate sample for a specific note.

摘要: Phase setting section sets virtual phases in a frequency series of an audio signal. Unit wave extraction section extracts, from the frequency series, a unit wave of one cyclic period defined by the set virtual phases, for each of a plurality of time points. First generation section generates velocity information corresponding to a degree of compression/expansion, to a predetermined length, of the unit wave. Second generation section generates shape information indicative of a shape of a frequency spectrum of the unit wave having been adjusted. Variation component impartment section generates a variation component by use of the velocity information and shape information generated for the individual time points.

摘要: A home theater system includes construction, presentation, and commerce in, songs. Presentation includes at least one of: metadata about songs or sounds, a function capable of transitioning from one song to a next song, and user preferences; and can determine in what manner to transition from one song to a next song. Construction of songs includes either factors above, or at least one of: a function or a user extension capable of selecting a next song, and an element capable of determining whether the song is perceptually random. A user interface is capable of searching playlists and selecting them for presentation, representing each playlist with a substantially unique pictorial representation, distinguishing in presentation between those playlists licensed to the user and those that are not, and capable of substantially immediate purchase of playlist licenses either individually or in bulk and either automatically or with minimal intervention.
