摘要： A motorized rack for holding the jewel cases or containers of CDs (or the CDs themselves) in a very compact manner includes a continuous loop formed of holders for the CD cases or other retainers which is driven by a pair of sprockets on which the holders are mounted for rotation. High density storage is provided by spacing the holders and their associated CD containers contiguously to one another and then removal is facilitated by allowing the holders and containers to fan out at the top the vertical tower for manual removal.

摘要： This invention relates to a storage container and to a stack of such containers, and in particular to a container for the storage of a number of similarly-sized articles such as compact disks or the like. According to the invention there is provided a storage container for compact disks or the like having a first connector part and a second connector part, the connector parts being adapted to interconnect the storage container with at least one adjacent storage container so that the container is stackable. There is also provided a stack of storage containers in which the first connector part of one storage container is interconnected with the second connector part of an adjacent storage container, and in which all of the storage containers in the stack are identically formed.

摘要： The invention provides a container for packaging disk drives comprising a lower cover and an upper cover. The lower cover is a thick, flat buffer having a rectangular carrier recess concavely disposed at the center of its top surface. The carrier recess is divided into a plurality of partition spaces by criss-crossing flat partition board. The lower end of the partition board is inserted into the carrier recess. An indent is disposed at the top end of each partition spaces. A plurality of vertical wings protrude from the center of each side of the partition board where the lower end of the wings sits on the edge of carrier recess of lower cover. The upper cover is a thick, flat buffer having a rectangular carrier recess concavely disposed at the center of its bottom surface. The carrier recess of the upper cover can cover the top end of partition board such that its edge can sit on the upper end of the wings to load more disk drives.

The heat source, the set of thermal transfer media configured to partially surround the heat source, and the thermal transfer shell partially surrounding the set of thermal transfer media form a thermal transfer module. Thermal transfer modules may be placed in thermally conductive cells. A set of thermal transfer sheets are placed in contact with both or either of the thermal transfer module and the thermally conductive cell, facilitating a heat exchange with an environment external to the thermal transfer module.

In one implementation, a storage system has a support structure with a first rail and a second rail that are oriented substantially parallel to one another, a carrier having a first attachment member, a second attachment member, a first channel and a second channel. Also, a plurality of sleeves are included, in which each sleeve comprises an edge having a first cutout and a second cutout, wherein the first attachment member engages each of the sleeves at the first cutouts of their respective edges, and wherein the second attachment member engages each of the sleeves at the second cutouts of their respective edges.

摘要： Disclosed is a multimedia storage support for receiving and holding CDs and DVDs as such as well as pockets containing CDs or DVDs and casings containing CDs or DVDs whatever be the size of these pockets and casing. This support in the form of a single piece having at least one storage opening provided with two opposite side walls and two opposite ends, each opening being also provided with a retractable fixation system consisting of deformable tongues. Each opening is further provided with recesses in at least of its opposite ends to receive and hold a CD or DVD or alternatively a pocket or a casing containing the same. The support may also be provided with holes and slots positioned in such manner as to facilitate its fixation to a holding structure. Advantageously also, the support may have lateral sides that are provided with tongues and grooves devised to allow fixation of the support to an adjacent support of the same shape, for the purpose of connecting several supports side by side and thus increasing the storage space.

摘要： A high capacity motorized rack holds a plurality of jewel case enclosed CDs in holders flexibly inter-connectable with each other to form a rotatable continuous loop. The loop is rotatably retained within a vertical rack housing and is driven by a motor, disposed within the housing, under user control such that the loop is rotated until a desired CD is moved to the top region of the belt. A rack may hold two or more such loops of inter-connected holders. In one embodiment a holder retains a single jewel case, and comprises two independent loops that are rotated with a single motor. A preferred embodiment employs inter-connectable holders that each retain two jewel cases in a side-by-side configuration. A lamp and/or barcode scanner may be disposed on the housing for ease of CD selection. The housing base preferably is detached during shipping to permit transporting the rack in a smaller volume container. User control can include voice commands to direct loop rotation and speed.
