摘要: An image processing apparatus comprises an image processing device. The image processing device comprises a receiving port and a processor connected together. The receiving port receives old image data corresponding to a document image of a document. The processor divides the old image data into first area image data corresponding to a first area image of the document, and second area image data corresponding to a second area image of the document, and further performs image enhancement processing on the first area image data to obtain enhanced first area image data. Thus, the first area image may be separated from the second area image, and the image enhancement processing is performed on the first area image. The enhanced first area image data and the second area image data are separately outputted or combined for output. An image processing method for the image processing apparatus is also provided.

摘要: A system and method are disclosed for rendering published documents tamper evident. Embodiments render classes of documents tamper evident with cryptographic level security or detect tampering events, where such security was previously unavailable, for example, in documents printed using common printers without special paper or ink. Embodiments enable proving the date of document content without the need for expensive third party archival, including documents held, since their creation, entirely in secrecy or in untrustworthy environments, such as on easily-altered, publicly-accessible internet sites. Embodiments can use a document's prior registration date in a blockchain to establish a no-later-than date-of-existence for that document. Embodiments can extend the useful life of integrity verification algorithms, such as hash functions, even when applied to binary executable files. Embodiments can efficiently identify whether multiple document versions are substantially similar, even if they are not identical, thus potentially reducing storage space requirements.

摘要: The information display system includes a printing apparatus and a display terminal. The display terminal's control unit includes a visual recognition determination unit, an image-data extraction unit, a link status determination unit, a link destination information acquisition unit, and a display control unit. The link status determination unit determines whether a page of printed matter visually recognized by a user through lenses contains a representation associated with link destination information. If the link status determination unit determines the presence of the representation associated with the link destination information, the link destination information acquisition unit acquires the link destination information based on the image data extracted by the image-data extraction unit. The display control unit performs control operations to display on the lenses the link destination information acquired by the link destination information acquisition unit so that the user can visually recognize the link destination information.
