A SURGICAL IMPLEMENT, COMPRISED OF ONE OR MORE SURGICAL CLIPS IN A COATED OR UNCOATED FOAM RUBBER OR THE LIKE SUBSTRATE PROVIDES A SIMPLE MEANS FOR THE COAPTATION OF GAPING WOUNDS.
