摘要: Water or wastewater filtration systems and processes have a filter tank having a floor and sidewall defining a filtration zone, an influent conduit, and an effluent conduit. One or more filtration members in the tank having filter media, and one or more cleaning members adjacent at least some portions of the filter media. Generating an effluent stream by generating a pressure differential across submerged portions of the filtration media, causing water in the influent to flow from outside to inside the submerged portions of the filter media. A prime mover rotates the filtration members. A blower and chamber for creating a reduced pressure condition in each of the cleaning members when they are non-submerged, the chamber receiving wet solids removed from non-submerged, wet solids-laden portions of the filter media by the non-submerged cleaning members subsequent to submerged, fouled portions of the filter media being rotated out of the filtration zone.

摘要: A pulp-filter arrangement (1) comprises a rotatable drum (10) and a non-rotating valve arrangement (30). The rotatable drum (10) has a cylindrical water-permeable pulp-supporting shell (14), a plurality of drain pipes (16) and a rotating hollow shaft (18). The plurality of drainpipes (16) connects the rotating hollow shaft (18) with a collecting channel (22) situated radially directly inside the cylindrical water-permeable pulp-supporting shell (14). The non-rotating valve arrangement (30) is disposed within the rotating hollow shaft (18) for sealing off the rotating hollow shaft (18) from a radially inner outlet (24) of the drain pipes (16) when respective radially inner outlet (24) is situated within a sealed zone. The non-rotating valve arrangement (30) is further arranged to, in a transition zone immediately following the sealed zone, open a throttled passage between the rotating hollow shaft (18) and the radially inner outlet (24).

摘要: A system for mud solid control includes a translational elliptical multilayer ultra-wide screen shaker, a degasser, a solid-liquid separator, a large capacity centrifugal machine and a collector for solid shales. The solid-liquid separator includes a base which is provided with a feed tank and vibrating supports. A vibrating tank is fixed to the vibrating supports, and screen drums, vibration motors and an anti-vibration driving motor are assembled on the vibrating tank. The anti-vibration driving motor is connected to the screen drums. Each of the screen drums includes an inner drum, an intermediate drum and an outer drum. The system and a corresponding process thereof can greatly simply and improve the process for mud solid control and relevant devices, improve usage effect, reduce cost, save electrical power, reduce occupied area and simply maintenance and management of devices involved.

摘要: The method and an arrangement are for dewatering and washing lime slurry before the dewatered lime mud is passed to a lime mud kiln. The lime slurry is dewatered in a pressurized lime mud filter of disc or drum type. The pressurized lime mud filter is pressurized through a compressor drawing on its suction side (s) gas phase from the filtrate tank and pressurizing on the pressurized side (p) of the compressor the pressure vessel on the lime mud side of the filter. A certain pre-determined amount of gas phase in the gas circulation system is vented and an equivalent pre-determined amount of fresh air is added to the recycled gas phase with the aim of maintaining the partial pressure of oxygen gas above a certain minimum level.

摘要: System for separating solids from slurry containing a separable solid in a liquid carrier, such as an industrial waste. The slurry is flowed into a separation chamber positioned over a slower moving foraminous medium to effect cross-flow separation of liquid from the slurry in an initial stage and followed by separation of solids from the slurry in a second stage all the separation being effected employing a single forwardly moving filtration medium. The flow rate of liquid, the rate of travel of the foraminous medium, and the differential pressure across the foraminous medium, as established by the pressure exerted by the flowing liquid on the foraminous medium and the relative pressure underneath the foraminous medium, are controlled at different locations along the length of the separation chamber to provide optimum steady-state separation for a given waste stream.

摘要: A cell filter having a series of filtering cells and a distributor for collecting and adjusting the distribution of fluids passing through the cell filtering surface. Each cell has a planar filtering bed composed of a filtering cloth bearing on a rigid apertured support. Fluid passes through the cloth onto the cell bottom which slants toward a drain channel. The drain channel slants toward a discharge duct connected to a distributor. Guide members in the distributor fractionate, divide, and direct the fluid flowing towards the discharge duct into two parallel adjacent streams. The guide members are a series of baffle plates, located along the top length of the drain channel. The baffle plates are slanted, the plate farthest from the low end of the drain channel having the steepest slant.

Class 46 A. continuous horizontal filter with rocking cells movable round a circular or other closed path comprises filter cells of light construction each having a wall and a substantially flat impervious bottom, assembled by peripheral flanges with the interposed edges of a perforated bed of resilient material supporting a filter cloth, spacing means being provided between the bed and the cell bottom, and the latter having a filtrate opening spaced from the rocking axis of the cell. Filter cells 1, Fig. 2, are each mounted on a hollow shaft 3 for rotation in bearings 4, 5 secured to a framework 6 which is carried by wheels 7, 8 on rails 9, 10, and is moved in a horizontal circular path by pinions 12 (one not shown) driven by a motor 14 through reduction gearing 15 and engaging a rack 13 on the framework 6. Each cell 1 comprises a flat bottom plate 22, Fig. 7, an intermediate perforated and studded member 23 preferably of rubber and a flanged wall 24 all secured together and to an angleiron framework 2, Fig. 5, by bolts 25. A filter cloth 30 is held by rods 31 in slots 29 at the inner and outer edges of the support 23. Each cell is drained from one comer into a flexible pipe 41 preferably of armoured rubber led through the hollow shaft 3, Fig. 5, on which the framework 2 is mounted and through the inner bearing 4 to a branch 52, Fig. 14, of the rotating crown 51 of a central distributer 43. The crown 51 includes axial openings 67, one for each filter cell, and has secured to its underside a bronze ring 72 for centring it with respect to a fixed column 70. A fixed crown 68 on which the crown 51 rotates has seven peripheral slots substantially in alignment with seven similar slots in the top of an annular box 69. These slots communicate with seven compartments into which the box 69 is divided by partitions; one of these compartments is open to the atmosphere, while each of the other six is connected to a vacuum separator 46, Fig. 2, by an opening 85 and a pipe 45. The crown, 51 is rotated by a framework 60, 61, Fig. 24, which engages a square head 55, Fig. 14, and is free to slide along guides 59 on members 58 secured to a ring 57. The ring 57 is in turn rotated by the framework 6 to which it is connected by radial, arms 56, Fig. 2. The hollow shaft 3 of each cell has secured at its outer end a cranked lever 17, Fig. 2, whose arms carry two rollers 18, 19, one before and one behind the rocking axis, running on tracks 20, 21 which are horizontal tor the greater part of their path to retain the filter cell 1 . in a horizontal position during charging, filtration and part of the washing steps. Where the cell is in communication with the atmosphere through the appropriate compartment of the box 69 the tracks 20, 21 are formed so that for a short distance the cell is tilted at 45 degrees, is then inverted and is finally restored to a horizontal position. The cake is discharged and the cell sluiced by liquid from sprays disposed both above and below the cell at this stage. The filtrate space in the cell is subjected to the normal vacuum of, eg., 300 to 400 mm. of water, between discharge of the cake and recharging, in order to dry it. The cell is charged with liquid to be filtered from a shoot 38 depending from a runway 39 (not shown) and fed by a pipe 40. In alternative forms of the filter cells the filtrate spacing may be provided by a member with an upper face undulating in a direction transverse to the rocking axis and interposed between the bottom and a flat perforated filter-medium-supporting member, or by transverse undulations of the bottom itself, the channels formed by the undulations ending in a lateral collector channel leading to'the filtrate discharge opening. 摘要: A filtration system for filtering a liquid includes a drum filter (2) having a primary inlet (4) and a primary outlet (6) in a housing (8), and a rotatable drum screen (10) arranged in the housing. A back flush element (12) is arranged on one side of the drum filter for back flushing filtered particles from the drum screen, and a gutter element (14) is arranged on an opposite side of the drum screen for collecting filtered particles, wherein the gutter element is connected to a secondary outlet (16) in the housing. 摘要: In a preparative separation-purification system for passing a solution containing a target component through a trap column to capture the target component in the column, and for subsequently passing an eluting solvent through the column to elute the captured component and collect it in a container, a dilution passage is merged with a collection passage for sending an eluate from the outlet end of the trap column to the collection container, and a diluting liquid is intermittently introduced through the dilution passage into the collection passage. The diluting liquid lowers the concentration of the target component in the eluate and impedes the deposition of the target component. Thus, clogging of the passage due to the deposition of the target component eluted from the trap column is effectively prevented.
