    Abstract: A water purifier includes a raw water flow path into which raw water is introduced, a clean water flow path connected to the raw water flow path and having a water discharge nozzle disposed at an end, a filter device disposed in the clean water flow path, and to which a filter is installable to filter the raw water, a drain flow path branched off from the clean water flow path between the filter and the water discharge nozzle and connected to a drain port to drain water in the clean water flow path to outside, a drain valve configured to open or close the drain flow path, and a controller configured to determine a remaining life of the filter on a point in time at which the filter has been replaced and control the drain valve to perform a cleaning operation based on the remaining life of the filter.

    Abstract: Provided is a water purifier that includes a filtering unit for producing purified water by filtering influent water; a TDS measuring unit for measuring the total dissolved solids (TDS) in the water flowing into the filtering unit; a purified water passage through which the purified water is discharged; a concentrated water passage through which concentrated water, filtered by the filtering unit, is discharged; a concentrated water flow control valve for controlling the flow rate of the concentrated water discharged through the concentrated water passage; and a control unit for adjusting the degree of opening and closing of the concentrated water control valve, on the basis of the TDS and the pressure of the water flowing into the filtering unit.

    Abstract: A filter element for a fluid has a filter medium arranged in annular shape about a longitudinal axis to be flowed through by the fluid to be filtered radially. A coaxial outlet socket is arranged at an end of the filter element facing upwardly in filtering operation. The coaxial outlet socket has a fluid outlet channel for filtered fluid and a venting channel that vents a clean side and/or a raw side of the filter element. The venting channel coaxially surrounds the fluid outlet channel radially and extends at least in sections thereof in axial direction. A filter system is provided with a filter head that has a fluid inlet conduit, a fluid outlet conduit for filtered fluid, and a venting conduit, wherein the filter element is suspended from the filter head.

    Abstract: A water drainage device for a filter module is provided with a valve housing that has a valve bore and a valve body received at least in sections thereof in the valve bore. The water drainage device can be transferred from a closed state, in which the valve body seals in relation to a valve seat of the valve bore, into an open state, in which the valve body is lifted off the valve seat, and transferred from the open state into the closed state. The valve body, upon transfer of the water drainage device from the closed state into the open state, moves linearly along the longitudinal axis of the valve bore and away from the valve seat along or at a slant to a direction of gravity in downward direction.

    Abstract: A filtration device is configured to be connected to an existing condensate drain line of a heating, cooling, and ventilation system. The filtration device is configured to collect metal and other debris as the condensate moves through the device and prevents the condensate drain line from getting a clog. When a clog is present or other issues affect a level of condensate to rise in the device and stop from draining properly, the device is configured to shut off the heating, cooling, and ventilation system. Alternatively, the device is configured to provide an alternate pipe for drainage.
