摘要： A molded instrument housing includes a top wall and a bottom wall slidably connected to a pair of opposed side walls or expanders to form a hollow housing with fastening means securing the various walls together by passing through vertical guide members on the side walls. Horizontal flanges are integral with the side walls and the guide members are molded to and extend from the flanges. Each flange includes a vertical opening which renders it adaptable for having a support member secured thereto. A novel handle construction is also provided.

摘要： This disclosure is directed to a protective device for compressed gas cylinders and includes a pair of caps each including an end wall and a peripheral skirt with one of the caps being of a generally inverted frusto-conical configuration and being adapted to receive in a chamber thereof a valve assembly of a compressed gas cylinder, each cap having aligned grooves lying in an axial plane and apertures in the same plane in which and through which, respectively, are disposed strap means for holding the caps positioned upon an associated compressed gas cylinder. The frusto-conical cap includes exterior pairs of projections to prevent rotation of the device about its axis when resting upon a support, as well as internally directed ribs for maintaining alignment between the frusto-conical cap and the compressed gas cylinder.

摘要： A rectangular underground valve box is made from separate side and end walls of plastic that may be packaged for shipping and storage in a compact manner. The walls include interlocking portions adjacent their edges that secure them to each other during assembly of the box. The bottom side of the box is open to permit positioning of the box over one or more underground valves. A plastic cover is pivoted to the box so as to control access to the valve or valves within the box. The box may be divided into one or more compartments that each receive an associated valve.

摘要： A cage-like structure is provided which is intended to be removably mounted on a storage pallet, skid, dolly or other supporting base, to constitute a container for goods on the base. The structure includes a gripping foot bracket assembly at each of its lower corners. The gripping foot bracket is composed of a pair of interconnected sections, one of the sections being slidably mounted to the adjacent side of the structure, so as to be drawn into a tight gripping relationship with the edge of the pallet when the sides are moved down toward the plane of the load supporting surface of the base. The structure also includes a hinged end panel and movable locking clamps of a unique construction for holding the panel in a closed condition. The sides of the structure are also intercoupled by the locking clamps which permit each panel to be rigidly coupled to the adjacent panels, and yet to be easily separated from the adjacent panels when the structure is removed from the base.

摘要： A container has a rectangular base and two opposite end faces each formed by a rigid frame surrounding a solid wall. Longitudinal members parallel to the longitudinal axis of the base plate connect the upper corners of the end frames. A flexible sheet metal membrane is welded around its entire periphery to the longitudinal edges of the base plate and to the edges of the end frame distinct from the base plate. The membrane passes over the longitudinal members and bears on them without being fixed to them. The external outline of the longitudinal members is shaped in the form of two clothoid portions symmetrical relative to the bisector of the angle formed by the faces defined by the longitudinal members, so that the membrane can slide over them easily without undergoing a sharp bend.
