摘要: The invention relates to a process comprising contacting a composition comprising a (hydro)halocarbon and a compound of formula Rf—C≡CX with a basic solution comprising an hydroxide, an alkoxide and/or an amide to reduce the concentration of Rf—C≡CX, wherein Rf is a perfluorinated alkyl group and X is H, F, Cl, Br, or I. The invention further relates to process for preparing a (hydro)halocarbon comprising (i) converting a starting material, optionally in the presence of HF and/or a catalyst, to a composition comprising the (hydro)halocarbon and a compound of formula Rf—C≡CX, wherein Rf is a perfluorinated alkyl group and X is H, F, Cl, Br, or I; (ii) contacting the composition with a basic solution comprising an hydroxide, an alkoxide and/or an amide to reduce the concentration of the compound of formula Rf—C≡CX; and (iii) recovering the (hydro)halocarbon.

摘要: Disclosed is a method for reducing carbon deposits on a catalyst in recycling HFC-23. The recycling is realized by means of a fluorine-chlorine exchange reaction with HFC-23 and a halogenated hydrocarbon. The catalyst for the fluorine-chlorine exchange reaction comprises a main body catalyst and a precious metal. The precious metal is selected from at least one of Pt, Pd, Ru, Au or Rh, and has an addition amount of 0.01-2 wt %. During the fluorine-chlorine exchange reaction, hydrogen gas is introduced. The invention has advantages of good catalyst stability, long life, etc.

摘要: A process is disclosed for making CF3CF═CHF. The process involves reacting CF3CClFCCl2F with H2 in a reaction zone in the presence of a catalyst to produce a product mixture comprising CF3CF═CHF. The catalyst has a catalytically effective amount of palladium supported on a support selected from the group consisting of alumina, fluorided alumina, aluminum fluoride and mixtures thereof and the mole ratio of H2 to CF3CClFCCl2F fed to the reaction zone is between about 1:1 and about 5:1. Also disclosed are azeotropic compositions of CF3CClFCCl2F and HF and azeotropic composition of CF3CHFCH2F and HF.

摘要: A new chromium-containing fluorination catalyst is described. The catalyst comprises an amount of zinc that promotes activity. The zinc is contained in aggregates which have a size across their largest dimension of up to 1 micron. The aggregates are distributed throughout at least the surface region of the catalyst and greater than 40 weight % of the aggregates contain a concentration of zinc that is within ±1 weight % of the modal concentration of zinc in those aggregates.
