    摘要: A steam generator having two vaporization chambers filled with molten metal salts for sequential flash evaporation of preheated atomized water through multiple vaporization tubes in said respective chambers. The molten metal salts are heated by secondary solar thermal input from lens assemblies and primary heat input from U-shaped hot air heating tubes within said vaporization chambers supplied by gas fired tube burners. Steam vapor generated by initial vaporization chamber is re-circulated to the secondary chamber outputting super heated steam. The molten metal vaporization chambers are encased in a single pressure vessel with re-circulation of condensate and multiple heat exchangers within.

    摘要: A solar powered cooling apparatus utilizes a solar collector to convert radiant energy into heat stored in water. An evacuated chamber houses a dessicant bed and a sprayer which introduces an adsorbate into contact with a heat exchanger conduit extending within the chamber. Evaporation of the adsorbate in contact with the conduit cools a medium circulated within the conduit between the chamber and a chilled water reservoir. The evaporated adsorbate is adsorbed by the dessicant bed until a predetermined temperature or saturation level is reached, at which point, heated water from the solar collector is passed through heat exchanger conduits in the dessicant bed to regenerate the dessicant bed. Iterative adsorption and regeneration cycles maintain the chilled water in a desired temperature range.

To increase the efficiency of the adsorptive-desorptive material, a space is provided between the material and the bottom surface of the compartment, with a supporting layer containing openings being placed beneath the material in order to hold it in place against the upper surface.

    摘要: Heat energy is stored chemically in and extracted from an energy accumulator containing a substance which contains less liquid in the charged, high-energy condition of the accumulator than it does in the discharged low-energy condition of the accumulator, which is associated with vapor condensing and generating means which is maintained at a low temperature as compared with the accumulator in which a liquid container is comprised. Vapor is driven off from the accumulator substance and transferred to the vapor condensing and generating means when energy is stored in the accumulator, and is returned to the accumulator when heat energy is extracted therefrom. The system comprising the accumulator and said vapor condensing and generating means is maintained substantially free from other gases than said vapor.
