摘要: Method, apparatus, and computer program product are provided for determining a maximum temperature to which a perishable good or other temperature sensitive item was exposed. In some embodiments, a capacitance of a circuit provided on a substrate is measured. The circuit includes capacitor(s) each having first and second plates separated from each other by an ionic liquid (IL) in a solid state. The IL melts at a predetermined temperature and flows away from the first and second plates into a void. In some embodiments, the predetermined temperature at which the IL melts is different for each capacitor. For example, each capacitor in the circuit may employ a different N-alkyl bezothiazolium salt. A maximum temperature of exposure is determined based on the measured capacitance. In some embodiments, a decision of whether to discard the perishable good or other temperature sensitive item may be based on the determined maximum temperature.

摘要: A data logger for logging values of a physical environment parameter as a function of time includes a sampling subsystem which acquires a sequence of sample values of the physical environment parameter at sampling moments which are separated by sample intervals, an encoding subsystem which converts the sequence of sample values in data records including a representative value representing groups of one sample value or a number of successive sample values with variations which meet a stability criterion and information representative of the lengths of the groups, a memory subsystem which stores a sequence of defined data, and the data logger is arranged to determine in which range of a plurality of ranges a sample of the environment parameter is located, and to use a stability criterion for the encoding which depends on the determined range.

摘要: A method and apparatus may include activating, by a network node, power of a global-positioning-system receiver or power of an active antenna of the global-positioning-system receiver. The apparatus uses the global-positioning-system receiver to perform synchronization of the apparatus. The method may include receiving at least one measurement, wherein the at least one measurement includes real-time, predictive, or historic data. The method may also include determining a holdover duration based on the at least one measurement. The holdover duration corresponds to a length of time where the power of the global-positioning-system receiver or the power of the active antenna is to be turned off. The method may also include deactivating the power of the global-positioning-system receiver or the power of the active antenna for the holdover duration.

摘要: Systems and methods for temperature monitoring and environmentally related calculations are disclosed herein. A system according to embodiments herein may include a memory, a network interface, and one or more processors. The system may receive one or more environmental readings from a sensor taking readings at an environmentally controlled area. The system may further determine a timestamp corresponding to each of the one or more readings and calculate, using the one or more readings and their corresponding timestamps, an exposure of a good stored within the temperature controlled area. The system may further determine that the calculated exposure of the good has surpassed a pre-determined exposure threshold for the good and send an electronic message configured to indicate such determination to a user. The system may use a neural network to predict future readings based on current readings and use the predicted future readings in methods described herein.

摘要: Systems and methods of the present invention allow to determine ambient gas temperature in harsh environments such as in a steam autoclave chamber during a sterilization process. In certain embodiments of the invention, temperature data is gathered using a sensor that is placed in an enclosed electronics-based temperature logging device. A capsule seals the temperature logging device except for a through hole that, during regular operation, allows gas to directly contact a surface of the temperature logging device in order to reduce a time lag between the data logging device and an ambient gas. As a result, the data logging device accurately can track temperature variations when placed, for example, inside a chamber.

摘要: A method, a system, an electronic device, and a storage medium for storing and collecting temperature data are disclosed. The storage method includes: acquiring starting time data corresponding to a temperature recording time period and acquiring actual temperature data corresponding to each time stamp; obtaining at least one piece of target compressed data corresponding to the temperature recording time period by compressing the actual temperature data; and storing the starting time data and the target compressed data corresponding to the temperature recording time period into a storage space of a temperature recorder. In the present disclosure, multiple pieces of temperature data may correspond to one piece of compressed data (for example, 1 bit), so that each piece of temperature data only occupies a small storage space, and starting time data and multiple pieces of compressed data are stored in a temperature recorder together, thereby effectively improving the storage performance of the temperature recorder, and achieving rapid collection of the temperature data. The blockchain-based verification for the collected temperature data ensures the security and authenticity of temperature data collection and prevents data from being tampered with.
