    摘要: A switch apparatus includes at least two contact levers, arranged rotatably about a common rotation axis and arranged, at least sectionally, parallel to one another and spaced apart. The contact levers each have two contact lever arms including contact sections for respectively making contact with one fixed mating contact section of a power line element. The two first contact lever arms make contact with a first force transfer element, and the two second contact lever arms make contact with a second force transfer element for applying a spring force. At least one force transfer element has, in touching sections for touching the contact lever arms, a bulge which extends radially outwards, for the uniform transfer of the spring force to the contact lever arms. At least one holding element of the two holding elements may be configured to be movable relative to the power line elements via an articulated bearing.

    摘要: A line terminal for a circuit breaker includes a body forming two opposing legs and a third leg. The opposing legs are configured to form a passage for receiving a stab from a panel board. The two opposing legs are biased toward each other, and each of the opposing legs has a convex surface facing the passageway for engaging and maintaining alignment of the stab. A fixed contact is attached to the third leg. The fixed contact connects to a moveable contact of a circuit breaker. An arc runner is connected to the third leg and at least partially encloses a perimeter of the fixed contact.

The first movable contactor, fixed contactor, and second movable contactor are arranged such that when an over-current flows, an electromagnetic repulsive force is generated so that the first and second movable contactors are rotated against the first and second contact springs to open between the first movable contact and the second movable contact and between the fixed contact and the third movable contact before the open-close mechanism opens the first movable contact.

Preferably, the drag bearing is formed by a bend of the contact force spring and a sliding surface disposed on the contact carrier. The drag bearing of the contact force spring can be displaced without a fixed link along the sliding surface according to the tension of the contact force spring. If the switching contract arrangement has several contact levers (multiple contact arrangement) all of the associated contact force springs can be combined to form a one-piece leaf spring.

    摘要: A switch includes a contact mechanism having at least one contact and defining a longitudinal axis. Actuation of a handle moves the contact mechanism transversely to the longitudinal axis between an open position and a closed position in relation to at least one fixed contact, whereby a contact spring loads the contact mechanism to seek the closed position. A support part is operatively connected to the handle and forms an abutment for support of the contact spring. The support part is moveable relative to the contact mechanism. Operated by the handle is a locking mechanism which is constructed to hold the contact mechanism in an intermediate position between the open and closed positions to maintain the contact of the contact mechanism at an electrically insulated distance from the fixed contact. A release mechanism interacts with the locking device for releasing the contact mechanism to move to the closed position.

    摘要: A method for retaining a movable contact in a circuit interrupter is applicable to interrupters including first and second contacts, at least one of the contacts being movable. A movable element supporting the movable contact is displaceable between a conducting position wherein the movable contact abuts a cooperating contact to complete a current carrying path through the device, and a non-conducting position wherein the movable contact is electrically separated from the cooperating contact. In accordance with the method, the movable contact is displaced by an interrupt initiation device, and a carrier or retainer is displaced by gas pressure resulting from arcs generated by movement of the contact. The carrier is guided in its displacement within the device housing from a normal operating position to a retaining position. The carrier includes an abutment element that physically contacts the movable element to prevent it from rebounding into contact with the cooperating contact.
