    摘要: A rocker switch having a sliding and pressing element, comprising a thermal conductive shell and an overheating destructive element. The sliding and pressing element is applied to the rocker switch. The overheating destructive element can be destroyed at a destructive temperature, and the destructive temperature is between 100° C. to 250° C. The thermal conductive shell is pressed against a rocker conductive element of the rocker switch so as to control the rocker conductive element to be electrically connected or electrically disconnected. When the rocker conductive element is electrically connected, and if the overheating destructive element is overheated and destroyed, the rocker conductive element would be electrically disconnected, thereby realizing protection from overheating. The overheating destructive element is tightly adhered to the thermal conductive shell and is capable of completely absorbing a heat energy generated by a circuit, thus giving the element the advantage of high sensitivity.

Each contact end (62) is capable of mechanically cooperating with the trip member (20), when the corresponding detecting member (28) detects an electric fault.

The front major surface includes a button disposed between first and second sets of receptacle openings. A test circuit is coupled to the button, and the button is coupled to an elongated switch actuator. The elongated switch actuator includes a first switch contact and a second switch contact which contact a first test circuit portion and a second test circuit portion in the switch closed position. The first switch contact contacts a first test circuit portion and the second switch contact contacts a second test circuit portion in the switch closed position, the first switch contact and the first test circuit portion forming a first air gap and the second switch contact and the second test circuit portion forming a second air gap in the switch open position.

    摘要: Electric Solenoid Actuators are used in a wide range of industries that require the combination of electrical, electromagnetic and mechanical apparatus and systems to activate or de-activate a device, automatically, or semi-automatically. Solenoid actuators are used in a variety of applications ranging from valve controls, electrical switch controls or contactors, or other electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical systems and/or combinations thereof. Electric solenoid actuators are preferred from pneumatic and hydraulic actuators for many practical reasons. There are disadvantages with the use of electrical solenoids and this may include the limitation of motion as well as the limited force which is dictated by the strength of the electromagnet developed by the armature. The solenoid actuator of this disclosure operates on either AC or DC power supply depending on the coil and armature design which is dictated by the force required for specific applications and the type of power supply available.

    摘要: A fault interrupter and load break switch includes a trip assembly configured to automatically open a transformer circuit electrically coupled to stationary contacts of the switch upon the occurrence of a fault condition. The fault condition causes a Curie metal element electrically coupled to at least one of the stationary contacts to release a magnetic latch. The release causes a trip rotor of the trip assembly to rotate a rotor assembly. This rotation causes ends of a movable contact of the rotor assembly to electrically disengage the stationary contacts, thereby opening the circuit. The switch also includes a handle for manually opening and closing the electrical circuit in fault and non-fault conditions. Actuation of the handle coupled to the rotor assembly via a spring-loaded rotor causes the movable contact ends to selectively engage or disengage the stationary contacts.

The indicator is disposable through a corresponding housing opening. Three springs bias corresponding indicator members away from the second housing surface. The housing carries two indicator members in a first orientation and a third indicator member in a different second orientation. The indicators are positioned in a straight line and are disposable through corresponding housing openings.

An example method is sensing a fault condition with a current transformer in a circuit breaker. The characteristic curve of the current transformer in a saturation mode is determined based on peak current. A current is received on the transformer. A secondary current is output from the transformer. It is determined whether the secondary current is indicative of a fault current in the saturation mode of the transformer. The breaker is tripped if the secondary current is indicative of a fault current.
