Abstract:
A foot pad has an elastic conical body and at least one elastic rib. The elastic conical body defines a connecting surface and an outer conical surface. The connecting surface defines a hollow portion, and the elastic rib integrally connects to the elastic conical body at a surface of the hollow portion. The outer conical surface has a root portion connecting with an outer edge of the connecting surface. A thickness of the elastic conical body at the root portion of the outer conical surface is greater than a thickness of the elastic conical body at other portions of the outer conical surface. Elasticity of the foot pad is thereby increased so as to enlarge a contact area contacting an outer supporting surface, so that an anti-skid effect is improved and the foot pad is capable of absorbing a deformation of an electronic product.
Abstract:
In a pictorial display device containing a matrix of gas discharge cells in which discharge path is divided into an auxiliary discharge space for operation with low voltage, followed by a second space with short path length and high field intensity for accelerating the electrons, the cathode is subdivided into subcathodes with each of which a group of auxiliary anodes is associated to obtain a narrow, approximately wedge-shaped gas discharge which is fired and passed on line by line.
Abstract:
Apparatus for protecting an electro-optical detector from sources of radiant energy located off the primary optical axis is provided so as to take advantage of the focusing characteristics of the primary optical components to direct desired radiation in a cavity designed and located to receive the focused off-axis radiant energy and cause it to dissipate by absorption during a number of reflections.
Abstract:
Electrical enclosures are provided that include arc resistant features designed to add structural strength for arc containment, to inhibit arc propagation, and/or to direct the release of pressure within and/or from the enclosure in order to provide arc resistant electrical enclosures. In general, the arc resistant features may be designed to provide enclosures where in the event of an arc fault, the doors and covers remain closed, parts are not ejected from the enclosure, holes are not produced in the enclosure, indicators located in close proximity to the enclosure do not ignite, and/or grounding connections remain effective. Further, the foregoing features may be designed to provide electrical enclosures that comply with industry guides and standards for arc resistant ratings.
Abstract:
This disclosure relates generally to an apparatus and/or system for housing a device. The apparatus includes a housing that is configured such that a device may be fitted within the housing and thereby be protected, such as from shocks and/or liquid. The housing may include top and bottom members that may be removably coupled together so as to form the housing. Each top and bottom member includes a perimeter portion defined by proximal and distal ends and opposing sides. The top and bottom members may include respective clasping mechanisms that extend along the perimeter of the top and bottom members and may be configured for engaging a third clasping mechanism, such as a locking comb or wedge feature. The clasping mechanisms are configured for coupling the top and bottom members with one another thereby sealing the housing, for instance, in a shock-proof and/or water tight seal.
Abstract:
A weatherproof cover assembly for an electrical device such as an electrical outlet has a base and hinged cover that encloses the base when a cord or plug is connected to the electrical outlet. The base has a cord access opening to allow the cord to pass between the base and the cover when the cover is closed. An outer guard partially encloses the access opening in the base to inhibit water, dirt and insects from entering the internal cavity of the base. The outer guard has an open portion with a center axis that is misaligned with the axis of the access opening to form a diverging path through the open portion of the guard and the access opening in the base. The open portion in the guard has a closure member that can move between a closed position when not in use and an open position to allow a cord to pass through the guard to the access opening in the base.
Abstract:
A seal cover includes a cover main body (10) shaped to cover an opening of a case and to be attached to a surface of the case. A seal ring holder (20A) is on the underside of the cover main body (10) and is arranged to fit into the opening. A seal ring (25) is on the outer peripheral surface of the seal ring holder (20A) and closely contacts the inner peripheral surface of the opening. An interlock connector (40) projects from the seal ring holder (20A) for connecting to the waiting connector and sets an energizing circuit in an energized state or a non-energized state upon being connected to or separated from the waiting connector. The interlock connector (40) is mounted on the seal ring holder (20A) to be movable in a direction perpendicular to a connecting direction to the waiting connector.
Abstract:
A two-gang pre-wired TV bridge kit including a kit, package, or assembly of components for mounting a TV to a wall with minimal disruption to the wall surface. The kit includes a fully assembled two-gang pre-wired electrical box with a pre-wired receptacle, a pre-wired junction box including a flexible cord connected thereto by a cord grip fitting, a trim plate and a cover plate. The cord grip fitting enables a secure connection between the pre-wired electrical box and the flexible cable that is permanently secured to the electrical box. The trim plate includes deep sidewalls for creating a recessed area for positioning the junction box behind the wall surface and rotatable flags for securing the junction box to wallboard. A cover plate secures to the trim plate within the recessed area. The flexible cord is plugged into an existing electrical outlet to feed electricity to the pre-wired receptacle.
Abstract:
An electronic component package has a first sealing member main surface with mounted electronic element, and a second sealing member. An outer circumference portion of a second sealing member is molded into a tapered shape, providing a tapered area in at least part of the outer circumference. A flat area adjacent to the tapered area is provided in at least part of a flat portion inward of the outer circumference portion of the surface of the second sealing member. A first area corresponding to the tapered area and a second area corresponding to the flat area are provided adjacent to each other on a first main surface of the first sealing member with mounted electronic component element. A width W2 of the second area is 0.66 to 1.2 times a width W4 of the flat area. First and second bonding layers are formed and bonded with each other by heating.
Abstract:
An electrical connection box includes an insulating plate made of resin that supports an input load applied on a connection terminal to be connected to an electrical part. The insulating plate is contained between upper and lower cases and provided with a honeycomb structure portion penetrating through the insulating plate in a plate thickness direction. It thus becomes possible to provide an electrical connection box of a novel structure provided with an insulating plate not only ensuring strength with a smaller amount of resin but also capable of enhancing heat dissipation.
