    Abstract: Devices, methods, and systems for modulating a user's personal health are presented. In one aspect, a device containing a sensor is configured for tracking, measuring, and modulating a characteristic is provided. In certain instances, the characteristic to be measured pertains to food consumption. A personal health modulating device for communicating health modulating data with a mobile computing device is presented. The mobile computing device includes at least one electronic data input for receiving electronic data, at least one wireless transceiver for communicating with a wireless network, and an interactive display. The personal health modulating device includes a wearable unit configured to be worn on a part of a user's body, the wearable unit having one or more sensors to sense an environment of the user, to gather data representing one or more attributes related to an activity of a user within the environment, the data being selected for processing according to one or more personal health modulating data processing routines, the wearable unit further having a transmitter to transmit the data to the at least one electronic data input of the mobile computing device.

    Abstract: A system and method for hyperthermic ablation of cancerous tissue of a human patient is disclosed. A system and method include a vessel that is sized and adapted for receiving the human patient, and a circulation device outside of the vessel for circulating a thermally conductive liquid to and from the vessel, such that the portion of the human patient enclosed in the containment suit is at least partially submerged in the thermally conductive liquid when the human patient is in the vessel. The system and method further include a set of electromagnetic transmission coils at least partially around the vessel for inducing an alternating electromagnetic field around the human patient, the alternating electromagnetic field being directed, via the thermally conductive liquid, to the cancerous tissue that has been provided a conductive nanoparticle, to provide hyperthermic ablation of the cancerous tissue.

    Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to an apparatus and/or system for housing a device. The apparatus includes a housing configured such that a device may be fitted within the housing and thereby be protected, such as from shocks and/or liquid. The housing may include top and bottom members that may be removably coupled together so as to form the housing. Each top and bottom member includes a perimeter portion. Defined by proximal and distal ends as well as opposing sides. The top and bottom members may include respective clasping mechanisms that extend along the perimeter of the top and bottom members and may be configured for engaging a third clasping mechanism, such as a locking comb or wedge feature. The clasping mechanisms are configured for coupling the top and bottom members with one another thereby sealing the housing, for instance, in a shockproof and/or water tight seal.
