The conversion circuit includes a plurality of driver circuits coupled to a plurality of strobe signals from at least one strobe signal generator, wherein each of the plurality of driver circuits comprises a plurality of gating groups respectively coupled to the plurality of strobe signals, wherein each of the plurality of gating groups includes a plurality of gate units respectively coupled to a plurality of heating elements wherein at least one gate unit controls at least one coupled heating element according to a corresponding strobe signal.

    摘要: A horizontal adjustment device of upper base of barcode printer includes a barcode printer chassis formed with at least one threaded hole. A printing-device upper base is mourned to a chassis side wall of the barcode printer, and having a through bore. At least one adjustment bolt has an end received through the through bore, and is rotatably coupled with an end of the through bore. The adjustment bolt has an opposite end forming at least one screwing engagement section. The screwing engagement section engages with the threaded hole, and another end of the adjustment bolt is rotatably received in the opposite end of the through bore. At least one adjustment threaded fastener engages the adjustment bolt so that the printing-device upper base is adjusted to move horizontally by rotating the adjustment threaded fastener and the adjustment bolt.

The method includes receiving pre-formatted data representing information to be printed on two sides of a thermal print media from a computer by a processor of a thermal printer, analyzing the pre-formatted data by the thermal printer to determine different types of data to be printed with different print densities by the processor, determining an average print density of the different print densities by the processor, determining that the average print density is greater than a predetermined average print density by the processor, determining a power level required to print the data, and directing first and second thermal print heads to print the data based upon the required power level by the processor.

    摘要: In one aspect of the invention there is disclosed a multicolor thermal imaging system wherein different heating elements on a thermal print head can print on different color-forming layers of a multicolor thermal imaging member in a single pass. The line-printing time is divided into portions, each of which is divided into a plurality of subintervals. All of the pulses within the portions have the same energy. In one embodiment, every pulse has the same amplitude and duration. Different colors are selected for printing during the different portions by varying the fraction of subintervals that contain pulses. This technique allows multiple colors to be printed using a thermal print head with a single strobe signal line. Pulsing patterns may be chosen to reduce the coincidence of pulses provided to multiple print head elements, thereby reducing the peak power requirements of the print head.

    摘要: In a method and apparatus for improving the printing with a thermotransfer print head, an energy value is calculated before the printing process according to different types to be implemented when a dot is to be printed. Energy values also are calculated for the heating elements at the ends of the row of heating elements of the high-resolution thermotransfer print head, so as to activate these heating elements even though in heating phases no dot to be printed at the border external to the barcode image. Additionally, those heating elements that do not lie in the two border regions of the heating element row are also activated for a limited time duration, the aforementioned time duration directly preceding the printing of a barcode image. A microprocessor calculates the energy values and is connected with a pixel energy memory for non-volatile buffering of the data that are transferred into a print data controller and are converted into a print pulse duration.
