    摘要: The present disclosure discloses a media transition unit for altering orientation and/or direction of travel of media that defines a first edge and a second edge, which is shorter than the first edge. The media transition unit includes a first module having a first sensor and a first conveyor belt, and a second module having a second sensor and a second conveyor belt. The first module receives the media traveling along a first direction perpendicular to the first edge. The received media is detected by the first sensor that prompts the first conveyor belt to transport the media at a first speed in a second direction perpendicular to the second edge. Upon detecting the media adjacent to the second module, the second sensor prompts the second conveyor belt to transport the media at a second speed along the second direction. The second speed exceeds the first speed.

    摘要: A belt step conveyor system includes a moving belt gripper mounted on a linear movement system to convey the conveyor belt rotating about a plurality of pulleys in successive distance movements while the moving belt gripper engages the conveying belt and the moving belt gripper is moved from a home position to an end position by linear movement system. The conveyor belt is stagnant by engaging a stagnating belt gripper while the moving belt gripper moves back to its home position, else the stagnating belt gripper releases the conveyor belt.

    摘要: According to one embodiment, a sheet post-processing apparatus includes a machine body, a first roller pair, a tray, a second roller pair, a driving unit, an inlet sensor, a receiving unit and a control unit. The inlet sensor is configured to detect presence or absence of the sheet in the first roller pair driven by the driving unit. The receiving unit is configured to receive, from an image forming apparatus, sheet length information in the sheet conveying direction of the sheet as a target to which the print job is applied. The control unit is configured to control the driving unit to rotate, if the sheet length information indicates special length and the inlet sensor detects a trailing end of the sheet, at least rollers of the second roller pair a predetermined number of times and stop the rollers, the second roller pair nipping the sheet.
