    摘要: A printing apparatus, having a casing, a printer, and a battery cover, is provided. The casing includes a battery compartment, to which a battery is attachable, and a terminal arranged inside the battery compartment. The printer is powered by the battery to print an image on a printable tape. The battery cover is attachable to the casing and, when at an attached position, covers at least a part of the battery compartment. The casing includes a guide arranged outside the battery compartment to guide the battery cover toward the attached position in the casing. The battery cover includes a first wall portion, which contacts the guide at an outer face thereof and slides along the guide as the battery cover moves toward the attached position, and a pressing portion to press the battery in the battery compartment against the terminal as the first wall portion slides along the guide.

    摘要: According to one embodiment, there is provided a power reception device including: a power reception coil, a power reception unit, a notification unit, and a control unit. The power reception coil receives power from a power supply device in a non-contact manner. The power reception unit causes the received power as a charging current to flow to a load. The notification unit notifies that a relative position of the power reception device to the power supply device is inappropriate. The control unit starts charging by the charging current which is set to a first current value and controls the charging current so as to gradually increase the charging current. If the charging is stopped before the charging current reaches a second current value larger than the first current value, notification is performed that the relative position of the power reception device to the power supply device is inappropriate.

    摘要: A thermal head includes a substrate; a heat generating section disposed on the substrate; an electrode which is disposed on the substrate and is electrically connected to the heat generating section; and a connector including a fixing ping electrically connected to the electrode, a movable pin which holds the substrate between the movable pin and the fixing pin, and a connection pin which connects the fixing pin and the movable pin. The movable pin includes a movable section which is bent or curved and a contact section making contact with the substrate. The movable pin is disposed so as to protrude from the connection pin beyond the fixing pin. The contact section is located closer to a connection pin side than a tip end of the fixing pin.

The method for controlling the printer comprises: detecting the number of heating units of a currently mounted printing head; acquiring a resolution, corresponding to the detected number of the heating units, of the printing head; and setting a printer parameter according to the acquired resolution of the printing head.
