摘要: An adjustable injector system for adjusting a radial distribution of a mixed fuel includes an adjustable injector configured to receive first and second non-carbon fuels and configured to adjust the radial distribution of the mixed fuel with a movable part, wherein the mixed fuel is obtained from mixing the first non-carbon fuel with the second non-carbon fuel; a sensor configured to determine an instability of a flame generated by the mixed fuel; and a controller electrically connected to the adjustable injector and the sensor, and configured to change a configuration of the adjustable injector, based on an input signal from the sensor, to control the radial distribution of the mixed fuel.

摘要: Various embodiments include a method for estimating a flow value for fuels of different compositions supplied to a combustion device using a mass flow sensor. An example method includes: recording a first temperature of the fuel using a first resistor element; determining a compensable value with a heat output signal of a heating element; and estimating a flow value for the fuel supply by compensation of the value compensable as a function of the first temperature and/or as a function of the fuel composition and/or as a function of the fuel gas composition on the basis of at least one saved mapping rule dependent on the first temperature and/or on the fuel composition and/or on the fuel gas composition and on the basis of a calibration characteristic curve saved for a reference gas.

摘要: Method for operating a gas burner appliance (10), the gas burner appliance com-prising: a combustion chamber (11) in which a defined gas/air mixture is combusted after combustion has been started; a mixing device (25) to provide said gas/air mixture by mixing an air flow provided by an air duct (15) with a gas flow provided by a gas duct (16); a fan (14) to provide the air flow or the flow of the gas/air mixture; a gas safety valve unit (19) assigned to the gas duct to open or close the gas duct; a gas flow modulator (18) or a gas flow regulator (28) assigned to the gas duct to keep a mixing ratio of the defined gas/air mixture constant over the modulation range of the gas burner appliance; an absolute pressure sensor (21) positioned between the gas safety valve unit and the mixing device, wherein the gas burner appliance is operated to determine the air flow resistance of the same by executing the following steps before combustion becomes started: Measuring a first absolute pressure by the absolute pressure sensor (21) when the gas safety valve unit (19) is closed and when the fan (14) is stopped. Measuring a second absolute pressure by the absolute pressure sensor (21) when the gas safety valve unit (19) is closed and when the fan (14) is running. Determining a pressure difference between the first absolute pressure and the second absolute pressure. Determining on basis of the pressure difference the air flow resistance of the gas burner appliance.

摘要: A fire detection system for a gas turbine system including fire risk zones is provided. The system includes a pipe intake port proximate to each of the fire risk zones within a gas turbine system enclosure, and a manifold in fluid communication with the pipe intake port. A temperature sensor is positioned in the manifold upstream of a cooling system. The cooling system reduces a temperature of a gas flow in the manifold, allowing use of an aspirating smoke detector. An aspirating smoke detector, which is downstream of the cooling system, draws in the gas flow and detects smoke in the gas flow. A controller generates a first alarm in response to the temperature sensor detecting a temperature of the gas flow exceeding a temperature threshold, or a second alarm in response to the aspirating smoke detector detecting smoke in the gas flow.

摘要: A burner includes an atomizing chamber, a flame tube in front of the atomizing chamber adapted to direct combusting fuel introduced by the atomizing chamber along an interior of the flame tube, and a controller. The controller is programmed to independently control rate of fuel flow to the atomizing chamber, rate of atomizing air flow to the atomizing chamber, and rate of combustion air to the flame tub. The controller is also programmed to perform operations including regulating, based on output of a gas sensor, at least the rate of combustion air to the flame tube to substantially maintain a first predetermined amount of excess air in the flame tube.

The hollow interior has a rectangular cross-sectional profile that tapers in a direction moving from the open front end toward the closed rear end. The burner tube further includes a plurality of gas ports extending upwardly from the upper surface, with each one of the gas ports having an exit opening raised above the upper surface.

摘要: Devices and methods for outdoor heating. A stove device includes a fuel system attached to a combustion chamber to deliver fuel from a hopper of the fuel system to the combustion chamber for combustion in a firepot assembly positioned inside the combustion chamber. A distance between a chute of the fuel system and the firepot assembly is adjustable to change an amount of fuel for combustion and thereby control temperature of combustion. The distance may be decreased to decrease the temperature and may be increased to increase the temperature.
