摘要: A junction box includes an enclosable housing with a bottom. The housing is configured to mount to a roof of a structure with a slope. A sealant is disposed on the bottom exterior surface of the bottom. The sealant surrounds a central area of the bottom. The central area is configured for penetrations into the roof and the sealant surrounds at least an upper portion and side portions of the central area. The upper portion is oriented toward an upper side of the bottom with respect to the slope of the roof. The housing includes a plurality of anchor openings in the bottom. Each anchor opening is configured for an anchor where securing an anchor through an anchor opening contributes to securing the housing to the roof and applies a force that compresses a portion of the sealant adjacent to and/or surrounding the anchor opening.

A wire or cable may be passed from a wall cavity of the wall, through the gland, into an interior of the wall box, and attached to the temperature control device. The gland and the wall box may be configured to prevent air within the wall cavity from entering the wall box when the wire or cable is passed into the wall box.

摘要: A wire harness wall-passing structure and an installation method thereof. The wire harness wall-passing structure comprises: a sleeve pipe, a pouring sealant, and at least one sealing plug, wherein the sleeve pipe is alternately filled with the pouring sealant and the sealing plug along the axis direction of the sleeve pipe; and at least one first through hole is-formed in the sealing plug, and a wire harness which can penetrate through the pouring sealant and the first through hole in the sealing plug. According to the wire harness wall-passing structure, the sleeve pipe is filled with the pouring sealant and the sealing plug, so multi-stage sealing and multi-time sealing of the wire harness are achieved, the sealing performance of the wall-passing structure is greatly improved, and the wire harness wall-passing structure is more suitable for to-be-fixed devices such as a high pressure vessel.

摘要: A heating, ventilation, and/or air condition (HVAC) controller assembly to reduce undesired air currents includes a front cover, a back plate configured to be removably secured to the front cover, HVAC controller circuitry, a plurality of wire openings, and an air intrusion barrier configured to extend across the wire openings. The HVAC controller circuitry is configured to be electrically coupled to a plurality of wires extending through a hole in the wall to adjust an environmental characteristic of in a controlled space. Each wire opening is configured to receive only a single wire and each wire is configured to extend through a different one of the wire openings. The air intrusion barrier is configured to receive the wires to generally form a plurality of seals against the wires. The wire openings are configured to substantially support the wires to reduce movement of the wires relative to the air intrusion barrier.
