Abstract:
A stage has a plate, a first seal surface, a stem, a second seal surface, a cover, a conductor and a flow path. A heater is embedded in the plate. A terminal for supplying power to the heater is exposed at one surface of the plate. The first seal surface is provided on the plate, shaped like a ring and surrounds the terminal. The stem is shaped like a hollow cylinder, surrounds the terminal and supports the plate. The second seal surface is provided on that end of the stem which supports the plate, and is shaped like a ring. The cover closes an open end of the stem, which is opposite to the end which supports the plate. The conductor passes through the cover into the stem and is connected to the terminal. The flow path is provided in the cover, for supplying inert gas into the stem at a pressure equal to or higher than the pressure of process gas present outside the stem.
Abstract:
A suspension for disc drive comprises a base plate, a load beam attached to the base plate, and a flexure attached to the load beam. The load beam includes a rigid body portion, formed of a thick plate independent of the base plate, and a spring portion, formed of a spring member in the form of a thin sheet independent of the rigid body portion. The spring member connects the rigid body portion and the base plate. The spring member is thinner than the rigid body portion and has a lower spring constant. The spring portion is more flexible than the rigid body portion.
Abstract:
To be capable of precisely positioning a head on a track of a high-density disk rotated at high speed in the disk drive, a head suspension has a plate (3) to be attached to a carriage of the disk drive and turned around a spindle, a load beam (5) having a rigid part (11) and a resilient part (17) and supported by the plate, a front end of the rigid part applying load on a head (13) that writes and reads information to and from the disk, a flexure (7) supporting the head, and an extension (15) having a length (L2) and extending from the plate along the rigid part of the load beam toward the head. The flexure is supported at least by the extension of the plate, and at least supporting the flexure.
Abstract:
A head suspension for a disk drive has a load beam. The load beam consists of a rigid part and a resilient part that are independent of each other. The head suspension is capable of suppressing impedance variations in a flexure and avoiding air disturbance. The head suspension has a plate 19 attached to a carriage 5, the load beam 21 having the rigid part 25 and the resilient part 27, and the flexure 22 attached to the load beam 21 and extended toward the plate 19. The resilient part 27 of the load beam 21 is made of a resilient material 29 that is independent of the rigid part 25. A first side 29a of the resilient material 29 is laid on an end 25a of the rigid part 25 and joined thereto. A second side 29b of the resilient material 29 is joined to the plate 19. The first side 29a of the resilient material 29 is provided with a cut 35 to partly expose the end 25a of the rigid part 25. The flexure 22 is extended through the cut 35 toward the plate 19.
Abstract:
In an identification medium for identifying an authenticity of an object either visually or optically by using an identification device, high polymer cholesteric liquid crystal is applied onto the object, onto a sticker adapted to affixed to the object or onto a base for hot stamping onto the object, and the high polymer cholesteric liquid crystal is patterned, and/or a graphic representation layer such as a figure and letter is formed under or over the high polymer cholesteric liquid crystal to enhance the aesthetic quality of the identification medium or the object, and improve the capability to identify and prevent forgery.
Abstract:
A suspension comprises a load beam, a base plate, and a hinge member. The hinge member has an end portion lapped and fixed on the proximal portion of the load beam, a base plate mounting portion lapped and fixed on the base plate, and flexible portions situated between the end portion and the base plate mounting portion. The flexible portions are situated individually on the opposite sides of an opening formed in the hinge member, and are elastically deformable in its thickness direction. An end portion of the base plate and the hinge member are fixed on each other by means of laser welds in positions near the flexible portions. The laser welds are formed individually in regions that extend in the axial direction of the hinge member from the flexible portions.
Abstract:
One object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle seat covering system that results in a vehicle seat having a good appearance and a simple mechanism, wherein a seat-cover assembly evenly covers the seat-pad assembly on the side parts of the seat, closely fitting the shape of the seat-pad assembly The present invention is a vehicle seat covering system, wherein a seat-pad assembly is covered with a seat-cover assembly whose main part and side parts are sewn along the boundaries of the main part and side parts. The vehicle seat covering system is equipped with (a) side-part pulling tubes that have a shape of a long tube and that are sewn onto the boundaries between the main part and the side parts, and (b) pulling parts that have a u-shape or somewhat circular shape and that penetrate the side-part pulling tubes in the longitudinal direction thereof, and one end or both ends of which is/are pulled to the side of the seat-pad assembly in its longitudinal direction.
Abstract:
A wired flexure comprises a substrate formed of an electrically conductive material, a read wire provided on the substrate so as to extend along the substrate, a write wire provided on the substrate so as to extend along the read wire, a slit formed between the read and write wires, etc. The slit extends along the read and write wires and divides the substrate between a first portion on the read wire side and a second portion on the write wire side. The slit is situated nearer to the read wire than to the write wire.
Abstract:
The purpose of this invention is to simplify the structure for softening the shock of a rear-end collision. The lower portion of each of its right-side and left-side members 3, which are made of sheet steel, include a plurality of holes 7 and 8 in which fastening bolts 11 and 12 are inserted so as to connect the side members 3 with an external member. The fastening bolt 11 is capable of contacting the hole brim of a hole, and by installing such a fastening bolt 11 in all of the holes, or in all of the holes but one, the shock of a rear-end collision is softened.
Abstract:
The object of the present invention is to provide a seat-occupant sensing device for a car seat such that a heater can be installed in the seat without deterioration of sitting comfort. A load sensor is mounted to a cushion frame of a car seat. The end of a flexible cushion support is linked with the load sensor Because the flexible cushion support flexes when a person sits on the seat, the load sensor senses when the person sits on the seat.
