Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and systems are disclosed for enhancing timing relationships in non-terrestrial networks (NTNs), e.g., by managing timing offset values and intelligently handling reporting failure relating to timing information reporting. To accommodate increased propagation delay in NTNs, a user equipment (UE) may supplement its timing advance (TA) value with component values representing roundtrip times to the satellite. The UE may maintain both open-loop and closed-loop portions of the TA value, and may report the TA value, or components thereof, to the network for timing synchronization. Methods and systems are also disclosed for failure handling in this reporting process.

The UE may report, to the base station, a CRI report indicating whether the UE prefers single TRP operation from the first TRP or the second TRP, or multi-TRP operation from the first TRP and the second TRP. The CRI report may be based on the configuration.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to handling preemptive data services in cellular wireless transmissions. In some embodiments, a device receives a first downlink control information (DCI) message on resources in a first frequency band, where the first DCI message indicates resources for a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission. In some embodiments, the device monitors a downlink control channel on a second frequency band, disjoint from the first frequency band. In some embodiments, subsequent to reception of the first DCI message, the detects an indicator in the downlink control channel and reduces the PUSCH transmission in response to the detection.

Abstract: Disclosed are embodiments for sidelink (SL) capability exchange via a PC5 link between first and second UEs for configuring inter-UE coordination (IUC). In one embodiment, a method entails generating a radio resource control (RRC) message for the second UE, the RRC message including information to identify supported IUC types of the first UE or provide an indication of which resource allocation mode is supported for IUC; signaling with a first SL unicast transmission to the second UE the RRC message; and receiving through a second SL unicast transmission from the second UE the SL capability of the second UE to configure IUC. Also disclosed are techniques for IUC with a UE configured for mode 1 (network-controlled) sidelink (SL) resource allocation.
