    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless communications device, such as a roadside unit (RSU) or a user equipment (UE), may transmit a network coding packet on a sidelink to perform an efficient retransmission for multiple packets. In some systems, a base station may coordinate sidelink communications between devices, such as by granting resources for the devices to communicate on the sidelink. The device which transmits the network coding packet may request resources from the base station, and the base station may grant resources for the device to transmit the network coding packet. These techniques may be implemented to prevent the base station from granting resources to the original source UEs for retransmission.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may be configured to trigger a sidelink message to one or more UE of set of multiple other UEs. The first UE may then generate the sidelink message based at least in part on the triggering. In some cases, the sidelink message may include time and frequency resource information associated with sidelink control information received and processed by the first UE. The first UE may multiplex the sidelink message with a sidelink data message. The first UE may then transmit the sidelink message multiplexed with the sidelink data message to the one or more UE of the set of multiple other UEs.

A user equipment (UE) may receive configuration information identifying the UE as a relay node and indicating for the UE to schedule resources for other UEs. The UE may receive a single message from a network entity with the configuration information or multiple messages from the network entity with the configuration information. A remote UE may request scheduling information from the relay UE. A network entity, such as a base station, may provide one or more resources (e.g., time resources, frequency resources, or both) for the relay UE to schedule one or more remote UEs. The relay UE may send scheduling information to the one or more remote UEs based on receiving the resources.

A user equipment (UE) may receive, from another UE, a coordination message that includes resource information (e.g., a preference status) for communication resources. The UE receiving the coordination message may determine a status of one or more resources based on the resource information, an intended recipient of the coordination message (e.g., based on a destination identifier of the coordination message), or a communication connection associated with the one or more resources. The status may indicate that a respective resource of the one or more resources is available, reserved, preferred, or non-preferred, or some combination thereof. In some examples, the one or more resources may be for a sidelink connection or a unicast connection. The receiving UE may utilize the determined status to select one or more resources for a sidelink transmission.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) and multiple network coding devices may communicate to reduce multiple network coding devices accepting a same take over request message from the UE for a given data packet. In some examples, the multiple network coding devices may determine respective backoff periods to wait before accepting the take over request message such that each backoff period is different for each network coding device. In some examples, the UE may receive respective broadcast messages from each of the multiple network coding devices that indicate a network coding capability parameter, and the UE may select a network coding device based on the received capability parameter. In some examples, a network coding device may transmit an indication of packet overload and refrain from accepting a take over request message.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a configuration. The configuration may indicate component carriers for sidelink carrier aggregation and parameters associated with cross-carrier feedback. The UE may receive a first transmission block on a first component carrier and a second transmission block on a second component carrier. The UE may transmit a physical sidelink feedback channel (PSFCH) on a third component carrier with the cross-carrier feedback. The cross-carrier feedback may include a set of acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) bits and an indication of an association between each ACK/NACK bit and a corresponding one of the first component carrier, the second component carrier, the first transmission block, or the second transmission block.     Abstract: The techniques described herein provide procedures at user equipment (UEs) for performing channel state information (CSI) reporting and sounding reference signal (SRS) transmissions based on an ultra-reliable low latency communication (URLLC) block error rate (BLER) target and for reliably receiving PDCCH transmissions. For CSI reporting, a UE may be configured to generate a CSI report based on a BLER target and on received CSI reference signals (CSI-RSs), where the CSI-RSs may be transmitted on one or more groups of quasi co-located antenna ports. For SRS transmissions, a UE may be configured to transmit SRS based on an SRS configuration determined based on a BLER target. For receiving PDCCH transmissions, a UE may be configured to receive and combine DCI received from multiple base stations.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for a UE scheduling grant based on a pro-scheduler implementation. A first UE may transmit a first sidelink grant transmission to a second UE with a resource reservation for a second sidelink grant transmission from the first UE. The second UE may select a sidelink resource that avoids an overlap with the resource reservation for the sidelink grant transmission from the first UE and transmit a sidelink transmission using the sidelink resource that avoids the overlap with the resource reservation. In further aspects, the second UE may transmit a sidelink transmission based on the first sidelink grant.
