Abstract: In an example, a computing device includes a processor which in a reimaging operation of the computing device, may determine if a backup image to be used in the reimaging operation is available from a memory device connected to a local area network of the computing device. When the backup image is available from the memory device, the processor may acquire the backup image over the local area network. When the backup image is not available from the memory device, the processor may determine if a backup image is available from a wide area network of the computing device.

Abstract: A method of processing merged 3D geometric information in a 3D printing system is described that receives a 3D object model file representing at least two physical 3D parts to be printed, wherein the 3D object model file comprises 3D geometric information for the at least two physical 3D parts, wherein the 3D geometric information is encoded as at least one logical 3D part, wherein at least one of the at least one logical 3D part comprises merged 3D geometric information for at least a subset of the at least two physical 3D parts. From the 3D object model file, a separate set of 3D geometric information for each of the at least two physical 3D parts is extracted and each separate set of 3D geometric information is processed individually before printing the physical 3D parts.

Abstract: Fluid is continuously recirculated through a thermal fluid-ejection printhead. Prior to firing a thermal resistor of the printhead to thermally eject a drop of the fluid through a nozzle of the printhead, the fluid is recirculated on-demand through a chamber of the printhead between the nozzle and the thermal resistor. The thermal resistor is fired to thermally eject the drop of the fluid through the nozzle. The fluid has a concentration of solids greater than 12% by volume.
