    Abstract: A video encoding apparatus and method are provided. The video encoding apparatus includes a video encoding circuit and a control circuit. The video encoding circuit performs a video encoding operation on a video stream to produce an encoded stream. The control circuit controls the video coding circuit to perform the video encoding operation. The control circuit dynamically sets a current frame in the video stream to at least one of a long-term reference frame, a short-term reference frame, and a non-reference frame according to at least one of a playback latency control condition and an inter-frame correlation condition. The long-term reference frame and the short-term reference frame are used as the decoding reference frame in a video decoding operation.

    Abstract: A signal processing circuit for processing a sensing signal from a sensor includes an amplifier, an input capacitor group, a compensation capacitor group and first/second switch groups. The first switch group is coupled between a first node group and the first and second floating nodes. The second switch group is coupled between a second node group and the first node group.     Abstract: A level shifter circuit which includes a cross-coupled latch and a set-reset latch is introduced. The level shifter circuit includes a first input node, a second input node and a plurality of switches. The first input node and the second input node are configured to receive a first digital input signal and a second digital input signal, respectively. The plurality of switches are configured to be switched on or off according to at least one control signal to output a first output signal and a second output signal. The set-reset latch is coupled to the cross-coupled latch and includes a set input node, a reset input node and an output node. The set input node and the reset input node are configured to receive the first output signal and the second output signal of the cross-coupled latch, respectively. The output node outputs a level-shifted output signal according to the first output signal and the second output signal of the cross-coupled latch. A method adapted to a level shifter circuit is also introduced.

    Abstract: A timing controller and an operation method thereof are provided. The timing controller includes a transmitter circuit and a control circuit. The control circuit ends a normal mode to enter a swing boost mode when a lock signal fed back by a source driving circuit indicates that quality of data signal is deteriorated in the normal mode. In the swing boost mode, the control circuit controls the transmitter circuit to boost the swing of the data signal from a normal level to a high level. The control circuit ends the swing boost mode and enters a clock training mode when the source driving circuit causes loss of lock to the data signal in the swing boost mode. In the clock training mode, the control circuit controls the transmitter circuit to employ a clock training data string as the data signal to transmit to the source driving circuit.

    Abstract: An integrated circuit (IC), a display device and an anti-interference method thereof are provided. The IC includes an input pad, a source driving circuit and an anti-interference circuit. The input pad receives an input signal comprising image data from the external. The source driving circuit is coupled to the input pad to receive the input signal. The anti-interference circuit is coupled to the input pad to provide a variable capacitance. The anti-interference circuit adjusts the variable capacitance from a normal capacitance value to at least one anti-interference capacitance value when an interference event occurs to the input signal. The anti-interference circuit maintains the variable capacitance at the normal capacitance value when the interference event does not occur.

    Abstract: A fingerprint sensor device and an operation method thereof are provided. The fingerprint sensor device includes a driving electrode, a driving circuit, a fingerprint sensing plate, a reading circuit and a determination circuit. The driving circuit applies a driving signal to an object through the driving electrode. The fingerprint sensing plate has sensing electrodes configured to sense the object. The reading circuit reads the driving signal through the fingerprint sensing plate. During a period between a rising edge time point and its adjacent falling edge time point of the driving signal, the reading circuit respectively samples the driving signal in at least two different phases to obtain at least two sampling results and outputs a difference value of the at least two sampling results. The determination circuit checks the difference value to determine whether the object to be sensed is a real finger or a fake finger.
