Abstract: An image decoding method according to the present document comprises the steps of: deriving a transform coefficient for a current block on the basis of residual information; deriving a residual sample by applying, to the transform coefficient, at least one of LFNST and MTS; and generating a reconstructed picture on the basis of the residual samples, wherein the LFNST is performed on the basis of an LFNST index indicating an LFNST kernel, the MTS is performed on the basis of an MTS index indicating an MTS kernel, and the LFNST index may be parsed before the MTS index.

Abstract: A video decoding method performed by a decoding apparatus includes the steps of: deriving control points (CP) for a current block; acquiring movement vectors for the CPs; deriving a sample unit movement vector in the current block on the basis of the acquired movement vectors; and deriving a prediction sample for the current block on the basis of the sample unit movement vector. According to the present invention, it is possible to effectively perform, through sample unit motion vectors, inter-prediction not only in a case where an image in the current block is plane-shifted but also in a case where there are various image distortions.

Abstract: According to the disclosure of the present disclosure: an LFNST set index for a current block may be derived on the basis of an intra prediction mode on the basis of the intra prediction mode for the current block being a WAIP mode, the LFNST set index may be derived as predetermined one value; and on the basis of the intra prediction mode for the current block being an NAIP mode, the LFNST set index may be derived as one of predetermined N values. Accordingly, it is possible to maximize the coding performance that can be brought about by LFNST within the implementation complexity allowed by a next standard.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for decoding a video signal based on adaptive multiple transforms (AMT). The method includes: obtaining an AMT index from the video signal, where the AMT index indicates any one of a plurality of transform combinations in a transform configuration group, and the transform configuration group includes discrete sine transform type 7 (DST7) and discrete cosine transform type 8 (DCT8); deriving a transform combination corresponding to the AMT index, where the transform combination includes a horizontal transform and a vertical transform, and at least one of the DST-7 or the DCT-8; performing an inverse transform on a current block on the basis of the transform combination; and restoring the video signal by using the inversely transformed current block. The AMT represents a transform scheme that is performed based on a transform combination adaptively selected from a plurality of transform combinations.
