Abstract:
A height adjustment device for a hinge having one hinge leaf that can be snapped into or inserted into a receiving part mounted on a door leaf or on a door frame, and with a height adjustment mechanism in the receiving part which has abutment against an edge of the hinge leaf. The height adjustment mechanism has a slide that is limitedly movable in the receiving part, and a rotatable height adjustment member. The slide has a portion for abutment against an edge of the hinge leaf. The height adjustment member has a plurality of radially directed, angularly separated arms of different lengths, wherein an end portion of such an arm is adapted to engage with an adapted engaging portion of the slide.
Abstract:
A door hinge has a knuckle defining a pivot axis, a pair of leaves extending from the knuckle and pivotal relative to each other about the axis, a housing fixable in a door jamb or door edge, and a holder in the housing. The holder is formed by a pair of bent sheet-metal brackets together forming a cavity in which engages one of the hinge leaves. One of the brackets has a face forming an acute angle to the axis. A pair of rotatable and externally threaded spindles extending across the cavity are threaded to the one leaf such that rotation of the spindles adjusts a position of the one leaf in the cavity relative to the holder. An adjustment screw threaded in the housing bears on the angled face so that the screw can be rotated to press against the face and cam the holder axially.
Abstract:
A refrigerator including a door opening device mounted in a grip part defined in any one of an upper surface and lower surface of a door and a side surface of the door opposite to a hinge shaft of the door. The door opening device is covered with a shield provided at a front surface of the door.
Abstract:
A wide-angle double-hinge structure to allow an electronic device to flip at different angles includes a coupling plate, a resistant hinge and a cam hinge. The double-hinge structure couples a first chassis and a second chassis of the electronic device to enable users to selectively flip in an ordinary notebook computer operating condition or a back-to-back operating condition according to their preference. Thus the users can selectively perform input operation in a handheld or desktop fashion.
Abstract:
A hinge device includes first and second leaves provided respectively with first and second knuckles coupled pivotally to each other, a torsion spring having an end connected to the second knuckle, cam co-rotatable with the first knuckle, and a cam follower disposed in the first knuckle and coupled to an opposite end of the torsion spring. The first knuckle and the cam are rotatable in a first rotational direction for driving the cam to engage the cam follower and for rotating the cam follower so as to twist the torsion spring. The cam follower can be driven by a restoring force of the torsion spring to rotate in a second rotational direction opposite to the first rotational direction to drive the cam and the first knuckle to rotate in the second rotational direction, and is operable to rotate in the first rotational direction for twisting the torsion spring.
Abstract:
The furniture hinge comprises a first and a second equaliser connecting, operatively to each other, a box-shaped body-adapted to be fixed to a door of the furniture and an arm of a hinge adapted to be fixed to a fixed element of the furniture, the first equaliser being pivoted to the box-shaped body through a first pin and to the hinge arm through a second pin parallel to the first pin, the second equaliser being pivoted to the box-shaped body through a third pin parallel to the first pin and the hinge arm through a fourth pin parallel to the first pin, further provided for also being a flexure spring for generating a force on the door during the rotation of the hinge, the flexure spring being wound around a pin fixed to the hinge arm and having a first arm abutting against the hinge arm and a second arm abutting against a control cam present on the first equaliser, further provided for being a contact surface between the control cam and the second arm, during the rotation of the hinge, moves both along the profile of the control cam and along the profile of the second arm.
Abstract:
A hinge assembly is provided to mount a door to a housing, and includes a housing fixation section (1), a hinge cup (3) pivotally connected to the housing fixation section (1), and a damping mechanism (4) positioned entirely within the hinge cup (3) to dampen movement of the door as it closes on the housing.
Abstract:
A carrier for connection of a window pane to a window lift of a motor vehicle comprises guiding claws spaced apart from each other in a longitudinal direction of a guide rail of the window lift for guiding the carrier on the guide rail. The carrier includes a window pane holder for connecting the window pane with the carrier and an adjusting device for adjusting the position and/or orientation of the window pane with respect to the guide rail. To ensure an exact bearing of the window pane on an associated sealing contour on a motor vehicle body with simple constructive means, little mounting effort and few components, at least one guiding claw is adjustable in a direction vertical to the longitudinal extension of the guide rail or in longitudinal extension of the guide rail and vertical to the longitudinal extension of the guide rail.
Abstract:
A closure assembly of an opening in a building has at least two mutually pivoted panels mounted with the pivot axis at least substantially vertical. The panels are movable between a closed condition whereby the panels provide at least a partial closure of the opening in or substantially parallel to the plane of the opening, and an opened condition whereby the panels, mutually disaligned by having pivoted towards each other, are substantially clear of the plane. A proximate panel is pivoted by a vertical pivot axis substantially in the plane of the opening adjacent a vertical periphery of the opening. The distal region of the distal panel is supported by a supporting runner. The supporting runner is guided by a support track which is skewed with respect to the plane of the opening and which spaces the supporting runner out of the plane of the opening at the vertical periphery.
