Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive a first scheduling assignment that includes an indication of one or more first resources and an indication of a first priority for a first sidelink data transmission from another WTRU. The first WTRU may determine to send a second sidelink data transmission associated with a second priority that is lower than the first priority. The first WTRU may determine a signal strength associated with the first scheduling assignment and may select one or more resources for sending the second sidelink data transmission. The first WTRU may determine that one or more first resources are available for transmission of the second sidelink data transmission based on the signal strength associated with the first scheduling assignment being below a threshold. The first WTRU may send a second scheduling assignment including an indication of the selected one or more resources for the second sidelink data transmission.

Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive configuration information indicating a first and a second cell group, and indicating discontinuous reception (DRX) information for them; and may receive a command associated with DRX. The WTRU may perform, based on the command, DRX for cells of the first and second cell groups. A first active time for the first cell group may differ from a second active time for the second cell group. Cells within the first cell group may be active during the first active time; cells within the second cell group may be active during the second. The WTRU may receive a first command to deactivate a first cell of the first cell group, and deactivate the cell based on the first command. The WTRU may receive a first command to reactivate the deactivated first cell, and reactivate the deactivated first cell based on the first command to reactivate.

Abstract: Logical channel (LCH) may be multiplexed together based on one or more latency requirements. Mapping of LCH(s) to spectrum operating mode(s) (SOM(s)) may be based on SOM capability and/or LCH requirements. A WTRU may determine mapping based on one or more pre-defined rules. The mapping may be based on one or more requirements for the various type of traffic and/or SOM capabilities. A radio bearer may be mapped to one or more SOMs. The WTRU may be configured with a set of SOMs, for one or more, or each, radio bearer. The WTRU may dynamically determine, for example based on radio conditions, buffer status and/or other parameters, the SOM to use. Incompatible multiplexing of LCH may be reduced and/or avoided, perhaps based on using one or more transport blocks (TBs) mapped to the same physical layer (PHY). Traffic may be prioritized based on one or more latency requirements.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are provided to implement scheduling for device-to-device (D2D). A WTRU (e.g., a D2D WTRU) may determine whether the WTRU has D2D data to transmit. The WTRU may determine a set of allowed SA resources and/or allowed D2D data resources for transmission of the SA. The WTRU may select an SA resource and/or D2D data resources (e.g., from the set of allowed SA resources and/or D2D data resources) for transmission. The WTRU may select one or more transmission parameters. The WTRU may select one or more transmission patterns. The WTRU may transmit D2D data over the set of allowed D2D resources using the selected transmission patterns and according to the selected transmission parameters.

The processor may determine to send information using a device-to-device transmission via a resource pool from a plurality of resource pools. Each resource pool may be associated with a range of reference signal receive power (RSRP) values. The processor may determine a RSRP measurement of a cell associated with the WTRU. The processor may select a resource pool from the plurality of resource pools based on the RSRP measurement of the cell. The RSRP measurement of the cell may be within the range of RSRP values associated with the selected resource pool. The processor may send the information using the selected resource pool.

Abstract: A method performed by a base station may include receiving using a first uplink carrier. The method may include transmitting a signal using a first downlink carrier. The signal may include a message indicating activation of a second uplink carrier. The method may include transmitting configuration information indicating an inactivity period associated with the second uplink carrier. The method may include receiving using the second uplink carrier activated based on the message. The method may further include detecting that the second uplink carrier has been deactivated based on expiration of the inactivity period.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described herein for sidelink communication in a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU). For example, a first WTRU configured with first and second resource pools may perform at least one congestion measurement of the second resource pool. The first resource pool may be configured for use by the first WTRU for transmission of the first data. The second resource pool may be configured for use by a second WTRU for transmission of the second data associated with a higher priority than the first data. If the at least one congestion measurement of the second resource pool is below a predetermined threshold, the first WTRU may transmit the first data using the first resource pool. If the at least one congestion measurement of the second resource pool is above a predetermined threshold, the first US may not transmit the first data using the first resource pool.
