Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may determine a channel state reporting configuration for one or more semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configurations for communications with a base station. For example, different channel state report configurations may be configured for the UE within the SPS configuration. Additionally, a downlink control information (DCI) associated with the SPS configuration may be used to activate the channel state report configuration. In some cases, different channel state report configurations may be configured for an SPS configuration, and the DCI may include a bit field to indicate which configured channel state report configuration is activated for the SPS configuration. Additionally, if the DCI indicates a release for an SPS configuration, the UE may refrain from transmitting channel state reports with an acknowledgment feedback acknowledging the release.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) generates a positioning state information (PSI) report to be transmitted in a lower layer channel, e.g., in the Physical or Medium Access Control channel, to a network entity to reduce latency. The PSI reports may be generated based on information from uplink (UL), downlink (DL) or UL and DL positioning measurements performed by the UE. When multiple PSI reports collide, e.g., to be transmitted simultaneously, or when a PSI report and a Channel State Information (CSI) report collide, prioritization of the reports is performed using priority rules based at least in part on positioning related content of the PSI reports. The PSI report or CSI report with the highest priority is transmitted to the network entity on the lower layer channel, and lower priority reports may be omitted. A network entity may receive and process the PSI report based on the priority based rules.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Feedback information associated with decoding downlink information may be reported in a first stage and a second stage. A size of the second stage may be restricted by an upper limit associated with an available set of uplink resources for transmitting the feedback information. Limiting the size of the second stage may include reducing a size of second information generated for the second stage, yielding third information for the second stage. The third information may be transmitted with first information generated for the first stage. Limiting the size of the second stage may also include generating second information having a reduced size based on determining that the upper limit may be exceeded. The reduced-size second information may be transmitted with the first information.

Abstract: A method of selectively transmitting a positioning signal from a TRP includes: transmitting, unmuted, a first intra-slot positioning signal resource segment in a first slot of a transmission schedule in accordance with a muting configuration, the transmission schedule indicating which one or more resource elements to sound for transmitting at least a portion of the positioning signal, the muting configuration indicating whether to mute intra-slot positioning signal resource segments; and muting transmission by the TRP of a second intra-slot positioning signal resource segment in the first slot of the transmission schedule in accordance with the muting configuration.
