Provided is a method and apparatus for encoding and decoding multi-view video data. The encoding method includes: decomposing each view image of the multi-view video into an overlapped region and a non-overlapped region, the overlapped region being overlapped with other view image and the non-overlapped region not being overlapped with other view image; generating a stitched image by combining the non-overlapped region of each view image and a middle view image; encoding the stitched image using a first encoding algorithm; and encoding the overlapped region of each view image, using a second encoding algorithm. Further, the decomposing step includes the steps of estimating disparity information for each view image, based on a predetermined view image; and decomposing each view image into said overlapped region and said non-overlapped region using the estimated disparity information.

A method of forming a split-gate non-volatile memory cell can include forming first and second adjacent floating gates self-aligned to a field oxide region therebetween. An oxide layer is formed covering the first and second adjacent floating gates and the field oxide region, the oxide layer electrically isolates the first and second adjacent floating gates from one another. A control gate is formed on the oxide layer on the first and second adjacent floating gates. Related devices are also disclosed.

The present invention discloses a remote controlling system for an electric device which can control operations of electric devices such as a washer and a dryer and display states thereof. The remote controlling system for the electric device includes one or more electric devices for communicating with a remote controlling device through a wireless communication network, transmitting state information to the remote controlling device according to a state request command from the remote controlling device, and controlling a predetermined operation according to an operation control command from the remote controlling device, and the remote controlling device supplied with power by a common power source, for transmitting the state request command to the electric device selected by the user, receiving the state information from the electric device, and displaying the state information, or transmitting the operation control command to the electric device.

A robot cleaner system and a control method thereof reduce manufacturing costs, expand a detected distance, and precisely control a movement and positioning of a robot cleaner. The robot cleaner system includes a robot cleaner and a station. One of the robot cleaner and the station transmits a signal of a predetermined frequency and the other receives the signal so that a direction toward the transmitting side for transmitting the signal is detected based on a Doppler shift observed by the receiving side that receives the signal.

A split gate type nonvolatile semiconductor memory device and a method of fabricating a split gate type nonvolatile semiconductor memory device are provided. A gate insulating layer and a floating-gate conductive layer are formed on a semiconductor substrate. A mask layer pattern is formed on the floating-gate conductive layer to define a first opening extending in a first direction. First sacrificial spacers having a predetermined width are formed on both sidewalls corresponding to the mask layer pattern. An inter-gate insulating layer is formed on the floating-gate conductive layer. The first sacrificial spacers are removed, and the floating-gate conductive layer is etched until the gate insulating layer is exposed. A tunneling insulating layer is formed on an exposed portion of the floating-gate conductive layer. A control-gate conductive layer is formed on a surface of the semiconductor substrate. Second sacrificial spacers having predetermined widths are formed on the control-gate conductive layer. A split control gate is formed in the first opening, by etching the exposed control-gate conductive layer. The remaining mask layer pattern and inter-gate insulating layer are etched until the floating-gate conductive layer is exposed. The exposed floating-gate conductive layer is etched to form a split floating gate in the first opening.

A semiconductor device capable of suppressing void migration is provided. The semiconductor device includes a dummy region extending in a first direction substantially perpendicular to a second direction in which a word line extends. In addition, an isolation layer pattern may not cut the dummy region in the second direction. Consequently, leaning of the dummy region and void migration are prevented. A method of fabricating the semiconductor device is also provided.
