Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for SRS antenna switching. A UE may transmit, to a base station, a capability message indicating an antenna configuration associated with SRS antenna switching e.g., via as RRC signaling. The capability message may indicate at least one of (and/or one or more of) a one transmit point (1T) and six receive point (6R) SRS resource set configuration, a 1T8R SRS resource set configuration, a 2T6R SRS resource set configuration, a 2T8R SRS resource set configuration, and/or a 4T8R SRS resource set configuration. The UE may receive, from the base station, a configuration message, e.g., via RRC signaling. The configuration message may indicate an SRS antenna switching configuration based, at least in part, on the capability message. The UE may transmit, to the base station, one or more SRSs, e.g., according to the SRS antenna switching configuration.

Abstract: The present application relates to an improved method of operating a user equipment (UE), comprising: receiving, at the UE, a configuration of at least a first Channel Measurement Resource (CMR) set and a second CMR set for group-based beam reporting (GBBR) and performing, at the UE with at least a first antenna panel (and possibly multiple antenna panels), a first plurality of intracell, multiple TRP, Layer 1 Reference Signal Received Power (L1-RSRP) measurements. The first CMR set and second CMR set each comprises a plurality of resources (e.g., Synchronization Signal Block (SSB) resources and/or Channel State Information Reference Signal (CSI-RS) resources), and performing the first plurality of L1-RSRP measurements comprises performing a measurement using a number of fine beams (formed by one or more antenna panels) for one or more of the plurality of resources (up to and including each of the resources) in the first and second CMR sets.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and circuitries are provided for configuring HARQ feedback for semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) communication. In one example, a method includes identifying a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource in a first slot for communicating a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) codebook. The method includes determining a set of SPS PDSCH receptions for which feedback is multiplexed in the HARQ codebook based on SPS PDSCH configurations for each component carrier and each slot, a UE capability for number of SPS PDSCH receptions per slot, and a prioritization protocol. The method includes selecting a codebook type based on whether a PDSCH is scheduled by way of a dynamic grant for any of the plurality of slots, constructing the HARQ codebook based on the set of SPS PDSCH receptions and the selected codebook type, and transmitting the HARQ codebook to a next generation node.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure enable a user equipment (UE) to performing inter-Radio Access Technology (RAT) measurements. The UE determines whether one or more inter-RAT measurement object (MO) is configured with or without a measurement gap (MG). When the one or more inter-RAT MO is on an NR serving component carrier (CC) with the MG, the UE performs an inter-RAT measurement on the NR serving CC based on whether the MG is fully overlapped or partially overlapped with synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) of a target MO of the one or more inter-RAT MO. When the one or more inter-RAT MO is on the NR serving CC without the MG, the UE performs the inter-RAT measurement on the NR serving CC based on whether a target SSB of the target MO is within or outside an active bandwidth part (BWP) of the NR serving CC.

Abstract: User equipment (UE), an enhanced NodeB (eNB) and method of improving positioning accuracy and enabling vertical domain positioning of the UE are generally described. The UE may receive a prsInfo control signal having at least one PRS configuration and subsequently a plurality of Reference Signals (RSs). The RSs may have a first Positioning Reference Signal (PRS) pattern in a first set of PRS subframes and a second PRS pattern in a second set of PRS subframes received prior to a subsequent first set of PRS subframes. The RSs may have a vertical positioning RS and a lateral positioning RS. The UE may measure PRS resource elements (REs), each having a PRS, in the first and second PRS pattern. The UE may transmit a measurement of the PRS in the first and second PRS pattern. The patterns may enable horizontal and vertical positioning to be determined.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) is configured to perform measurements during two or more measurement gaps (MGs). The UE receives a MG configuration, wherein the MG configuration includes multiple MGs and MG conflict resolution information, determines whether a conflict exists between two or more of the MGs, selects at least one of the two or more MGs that have the conflict based on the MG conflict resolution information and performs signal measurements during the selected at least one of the two or more MGs that have the conflict.

Abstract: Some embodiments include a system, method, and computer program product for radio resource management (RRM) scaling factor enhancement without measurement gaps (MGs) in an E-UTRA-New Radio (NR) Dual Connectivity (EN-DC) network. Some embodiments include a user equipment (UE) that receives from a Primary Node (PN), a first NR measurement object (MO) without MG associated with a frequency. The UE receives from a Secondary Node (SN), a second NR MO without MG associated with the same frequency. The UE allocates resources based on a Primary Secondary Component Carrier (PSCC) and determines a scaling factor for determining a total procedure period for obtaining measurements to satisfy the first and the second NR MO without MG. Some embodiments include combining counts of NR MO without MG at a same frequency. Some embodiments include coordination between the PN and the SN so that MOs without MG at a common frequency satisfy the merging rule.
