Abstract:
A recyclable continuous ink jet print head is provided that includes a manifold formed from a metal such as stainless steel, a die having ink jet nozzles formed from a ceramic material such as silicon, a control circuit connected to the die via microwiring, and an interposing member disposed between the manifold and the die. The interposing member is formed from a composite material such as Al—SiC having a coefficient of thermal conductivity that is higher than that of the silicon die, and a coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) that is between that of the die and the manifold. During manufacture, the CTE value of the interposing member allows long-lasting, heat-cured epoxy compositions to be used to bond the die to the manifold and to encapsulate the microwiring between the die and a control circuit with while maintaining proper alignment of the die ink jet nozzles on the manifold. When the die wears out, the high thermal conductivity of the interposing member allows the die to be easily removed from the manifold, thereby facilitating re-cycling of the manifold.
Abstract:
A trampoline swing has a swing assembly, a trampoline assembly and a trampoline to swing connection member connecting the horizontally oriented trampoline frame to a trampoline connection end of the swing assembly. The trampoline swing has a top bar having a pair of apexes, namely a left apex and a right apex. The left apex is at a left side of the swing assembly and the right apex is at the right side of the swing assembly. There are four main body leg supports, namely a front left leg support, a front right leg support, a rear left leg support, and a rear right leg support. The left apex receives the front left leg support and the rear left leg support. The right apex receives the front right leg support and the rear right leg support. A plurality of swing connectors are mounted on the top bar.
Abstract:
The assembly of the product begins with assembly of the trampoline frame. The vertical post can be made in multiple sections. The lower portion of the trampoline frame is assembled first, followed by the enclosure. After the entire frame is assembled, the bed is attached to the frame by springs. The springs are connected between the trampoline frame and the bed. A trampoline pad covers the springs. Finally, an enclosure is placed over the enclosure portion of the frame. The enclosure includes a net and preferably includes a zipper, or hook and loop straps for securing the opening of the entrance to the structure. It is preferred that the enclosure netting is secured to the enclosure frame portion by a sleeve, which can be padded for extra safety. The sleeve connection can be zippered for faster connection, or may have no lateral opening for greater strength.
Abstract:
The present invention is an inflatable apparatus that has a fluid chamber. The inflatable side air chamber surrounds the fluid chamber. The inflatable side air chamber forms a fluid chamber pocket for receiving the fluid chamber. A sidewall of the inflatable side air chamber has retaining walls extending upward from the inflatable side air chamber for retaining children. A fill tube is disposed on the fluid chamber. An optional inflatable ramp adjacent to the fluid chamber leads to a slide for sliding to a slide exit. The ramp may have hand grips formed as straps and footholds may also be formed on the ramp. The retaining walls can be inflatable sidewalls that extend upward from the inflatable side air chamber.

A method of fabricating a nanocomposite material includes generating nanoparticles in-situ with a polymer. A nanocomposite material includes a polymer having nanoparticles characterized by a shorter dimension of not more than 50 nm and elongated strands or dense packing.
Abstract:
A turbulent tassel column has an inflatable clear column member containing tassels held inside the column. The tassels circulate freely or are wall attached within the transparent column member. An inverted cone member held within the inflatable member directs airflow blowing tassels. The inverted cone member has an exit aperture and an input aperture. The input aperture receives airflow from the bottom of the column and directs airflow through an exit aperture. Tassels accumulating at the bottom of the input aperture receive airflow arriving from the bottom of the column at the input aperture.

Abstract:
Backside conductive layers with increased conductive efficiency can be provided for thermally developable materials by formulating hydrophilic metal oxide clusters in a hydrophobic environment using low shear mixing conditions. The dry thickness and coating weight of the conductive layer are thereby reduced.
