Abstract: A method for processing an X-ray computed tomography (CT) image using a neural network and an apparatus therefor are provided. An image reconstruction method includes receiving low-dose X-ray CT data, obtaining an initial reconstruction image for the received low-dose X-ray CT data using a predetermined analytic algorithm, and reconstructing a denoised final image using the obtained initial reconstruction image and a previously trained neural network.

Abstract: A smart screw according to an embodiment may comprise: a screw main body which penetrates an artificial joint including a shell disposed on a hip joint of an object and a liner disposed on the inner surface of the shell and is then inserted into the hip joint; a transducer including a coupling layer that senses a sound wave signal reflected from the liner, a piezo-electric layer formed to determine a frequency of the sound wave signal, and a sound absorbing layer for absorbing the sound wave signal; and a processing module for generating a sound wave signal toward the liner and receiving the sound wave signal sensed by the coupling layer, measuring the thickness of the liner on the basis of the received sound wave signal, and transferring data about the measured thickness of the liner to the outside.

Abstract: The present disclosure seeks to perform real-time video streaming on a mobile device toward maintaining user QoE even under bandwidth constraints while being acceptable to the lightweight computing capacity of the mobile device. To this end, the embodiments apply deep neural network-based SR to a small number of pre-selected video frames and utilize the video frames to which SR is applied to enhance the resolution of the remaining frames, wherein the pre-selected frames are chosen for SR within a preset quality margin. Additionally, the present disclosure provides an apparatus and a method for SR acceleration for real-time video streaming under the lightweight computing capacity and video-specific constraints of a mobile device, which allow a server to deliver multiple options on a deep neural network and a cache profile including SR application information and enable the mobile device to select an option suitable for its computing capacity.

Probability density functions of the control codes are time-invariant.

Abstract: In a method of manufacturing a highly stretchable three-dimensional (3D) percolated conductive nano-network structure, a 3D nano-structured porous elastomer including patterns distributed in a periodic network is formed. A surface of the 3D nano-structured porous elastomer is changed to a hydrophilic state. A polymeric material is conformally adhered on the surface of the 3D nano-structured porous elastomer. The surface of the 3D nano-structured porous elastomer is wet by infiltrating a conductive solution in which a conductive material is dispersed. A 3D percolated conductive nano-network coupled with the 3D nano-structured porous elastomer is formed by evaporating a solvent of the conductive solution and removing the polymeric material.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method and system for enhancing document reliability to enable a given document to receive higher reliability from a reader. A method for enhancing document reliability according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: when a document is input by a user, generating a correction candidate set for each sentence of the input document; predicting a reliability distribution for each of the generated correction candidate set and the input document; and enhancing reliability of the input document via a plurality of enhancement schemes based on a standard deviation and a mean of the predicted reliability distribution.
