Abstract: In a wireless local area network system (WLAN), a method and an apparatus for reducing power consumption of a station (STA) comprising a wake-up receiver (WUR) and a WLAN transmitter/receiver are disclosed. To this end, an STA receives a wake-up packet (WUP) including a group-based identifier using the WUR when the WLAN transmitter/receiver is OFF, and switches the WLAN transmitter/receiver to be ON according to WUP information so as to perform WLAN communication using the WLAN transmitter/receiver, wherein one or more of switching the WLAN transmitter/receiver to be ON, and maintaining the ON state are indicated by a traffic indication map (TIM).

Abstract: Proposed are a method and a device for transmitting a wakeup packet in a wireless LAN system. Specifically, a transmission device configures a wakeup packet and transmits the wakeup packet to a reception device. The wakeup packet, to which an OOK scheme is applied, includes a sequence comprising first information and second information. The first information comprises an on-signal, and the second information comprises an off-signal. The on-signal is transferred through a first symbol generated by applying a first sequence to K continuous subcarriers in a 20 MHz band and performing 64-point IFFT thereon. In the K subcarriers to which the first sequence is applied, coefficients of subcarriers are set to 1 or −1 by a unit of m subcarriers, and coefficients of the remaining subcarriers are set to 0.

Abstract: A method by which a station (STA) transmits a frame including a buffer state report (BSR) in a wireless LAN (WLAN) system, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: configuring the BSR of the STA to a first control sub-field among one or more control sub-fields aggregated in an aggregated-control (A-control) field; and transmitting the A-control field through a high throughput (HT) control filed included in a MAC header of the frame, wherein the first control sub-field for the BSR is configured as a short BSR when a second control sub-field in the A-control field includes uplink power headroom information of the STA.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for transmitting a frame in a wireless communication system, in particular, a high density wireless LAN system, and a station apparatus for performing the same. To this end, a station for transmitting a frame configures a radio frame for a second type station, including a frame part for a first type station and a frame part for the second type station, wherein the frame part for the second type station includes a first signaling field (SIG A) for the second type station and a second signaling field (SIG B) for the second type station. The SIG A for the second type station includes modulation and coding scheme (MCS) information applied to the SIG B for the second type station, and the MCS level applied to the SIG B for the second type station supports an MCS having level than the lowest MCS level defined for the first type station.

Abstract: A method and a device for transmitting a frame in a wireless LAN are disclosed. A method for transmitting a data unit in a wireless LAN can comprise the steps of: transmitting, by an AP, an RTS frame for medium protection to a plurality of STAs through a plurality of channels; receiving, by the AP, a CTS frame in response to the RTS frame from each of the plurality of STAs through a first allocation channel, wherein the first allocation channel is at least one of the plurality of channels, which is determined on the basis of the RTS frame; and transmitting, by the AP, downlink data to each of the plurality of STAs through a second allocation channel on the basis of OFDMA in overlapped time resources, wherein the second allocation channel is at least one of the plurality of channels.
