Abstract: This application provides a radio frame sending method and apparatus, and a radio frame receiving method and apparatus. First information for identifying a first MLD in an MLE is included in a radio frame, so that a receiver of the radio frame obtains information of the first MLD from the MLE based on the first information after receiving the radio frame. In the method, a first AP generates the radio frame including the MLE, the MLE carries the information of the first MLD, the MLE includes the first information, and the first information identifies the first MLD; and the first AP sends the radio frame. This application is applied to a wireless local area network system supporting next-generation Wi-Fi protocols of IEEE 802.11ax, for example 802.11be and other 802.11 family of protocols.

Abstract: This application is applicable to a multi-link group addressed traffic transmission method and an apparatus. A first access point (AP) of an AP multi-link device (MLD) sends group addressed traffic indication information indicating whether each AP of other APs of the AP MLD has a group addressed traffic, so that a station (STA) can learn whether the multiple APs have a group addressed traffic. In this way, each STA of the STA MLD does not need to listen to each AP whether each AP has a group addressed traffic. This reduces power consumption of the STA MLD. This application may be applied to a wireless local area network system that supports an IEEE 802.11ax next-generation Wi-Fi EHT protocol, for example, 802.11 series protocols such as 802.11be.

Abstract: A method includes: generating, by an access point AP, a first frame, where the first frame includes P station information fields, each of the P station information fields corresponds to one resource unit RU allocated to a first station STA, P is a positive integer greater than 1, each station information field further includes end indication information, and the end indication information is used to indicate whether the station information field is the last station information field in the P station information fields. Therefore, a resource allocation manner of the AP can be more flexible, a frequency selective gain of an OFDMA system can be effectively improved, and a system capacity can be increased.

The multi-link association response frame carries reassociation information, to indicate whether each parameter in association configuration information is reserved, so that a problem that signaling overheads are relatively large due to a reassociation operation is avoided. It can be learned that, in the multi-link establishment method, the foregoing information is carried to improve multi-link establishment flexibility.

Abstract: A transmission method is applied to a tunneled direct link setup (TDLS) such that different stations (STAs) associated with a same multiple basic service set identifier (BSSID) set communicate with each other based on the TDLS, to implement point-to-point communication.
