Abstract: The present application discloses a method for data forwarding in a small cell system, comprising: sending by a master base station (MeNB) to a target secondary base station (SeNB) information of a source SeNB or a source SeNB cell where a user equipment (UE) is located; determining by the target SeNB whether a direct data forwarding is feasible; notifying, by the target SeNB, the MeNB whether the direct data forwarding is feasible; and determining by the MeNB whether it is a direct data forwarding or an indirect data forwarding. The method for data forwarding provided in the present application may support both the direct data forwarding and the indirect data forwarding based on actual situation of the network, reduce data loss and failure of data forwarding, and improve the efficiency of data forwarding.

Abstract: A method enabling an relay node (RN) to support multiple wireless access techniques is provided, which includes: a mobility management element (MME) requests a DeNB to establish evolved radio access bearers (ERAB) of EUTRAN and indicates access network information that will be transmitted by each of the ERABs; the DeNB requests an RN to establish radio bearers (RB) and indicates the access network information that will be transmitted by each of the RBs. The above method makes fewer modifications to conventional networks and techniques, guarantees service quality provided for a UE accessing an LTE system, and enables an RN to support access of UEs using multiple access techniques.

Abstract: Examples of the present disclosure provide a method for determining access control, applied in a handoff procedure of a UE. The method include receiving, from a source base station, a first message including a first local home network (LHN) identifier (ID) and an address of a local gateway; receiving, from a target base station, a second message including a second LHN ID; determining whether a LHN ID is changed based on the first LHN ID and a second LHN ID; and disconnecting a selected IP traffic offload (SIPTO) service if the LHN ID is changed. According to a technical solution provided by the present disclosure, service continuity of the LIPA service or the SIPTO service can be maintained correctly.

Abstract: A method for supporting indication of a failure event to a source access system is provided. The method includes notifying, by the source access system, information of a source cell to a target access system, routing, by the target access system, a message to the base station or the base station controller of the source access through a core network by use of the information of the source cell received from the source access system when the target access system needs to transmit a message to the source access system. By use of the method provided by the present disclosure, a problem of mobility robustness optimization (MRO) among different radio access technology (RAT) may be notified to the source access system, so as to avoid impact for a terminal, reduce operator configuration.

Abstract: The present application discloses a method for synchronizing encryption information between a SCell and UE, which includes that: the SCell transmits a COUNT value of RB established for the UE to a PCell; the PCell transmits the COUNT value received from the SCell to the UE; and the PCell receives a COUNT value of RB established on the SCell that is saved by the UE from the UE. Abstract: The present application discloses a method for a master eNB (MeNB) handover or a secondary eNB (SeNB) handover in a small cell system, comprising: sending by a source MeNB information of a source secondary cell (Scell) to a target MeNB; sending by the target MeNB a message to the source MeNB, the message notifying the source MeNB to suspend data transmission on a bearer of the SeNB. Until a message of data transmission resuming is received, the data transmission/reception is started to continue. The method for a MeNB handover or a SeNB handover provided in the present application may reduce the reconfiguration of the bearer for the UE, avoid releasing the bearer by error, and improve the system throughput and the data rate of transmission.
