Abstract: A structural analysis computing device may generate a proposed insurance claim and/or generate a proposed insurance quote for an object pictured in a three-dimensional (3D) image. The structural analysis computing device may be coupled to a drone configured to capture exterior images of the object. The structural analysis computing device may include a memory, a user interface, an object sensor configured to capture the 3D image, and a processor in communication with the memory and the object sensor. The processor may access the 3D image including the object, and analyze the 3D images to identify features of the object—such as by inputting the 3D image into a trained machine learning or pattern recognition program. The processor may generate a proposed claim form for a damaged object and/or a proposed quote for an uninsured object, and display the form to a user for their review and/or approval.

Abstract: The following relates generally to light detection and ranging (LIDAR) and artificial intelligence (AI). In some embodiments, a system: receives LIDAR data generated from a LIDAR camera; measures plurality of dimensions of the home based upon processor analysis of the LIDAR data; builds a 3D model of the home based upon the measured plurality of dimensions; and displays a representation of the 3D model by visually navigating through the 3D model.

Abstract: A method of training and using a machine learning model that controls for consideration of undesired factors which might otherwise be considered by the trained model during its subsequent analyses of new data. For example, the model may be a neural network trained on a set of training images to evaluate an insurance applicant based upon an image or audio data of the insurance applicant as part of an underwriting process to determine an appropriate life or health insurance premium. The model is trained to probabilistically correlate an aspect of the applicant's appearance with a personal and/or health-related characteristic. Any undesired factors, such as age, sex, ethnicity, and/or race, are identified for exclusion. The trained model receives the image (e.g., a “selfie”) of the insurance applicant, analyzes the image without considering the identified undesired factors, and suggests the appropriate insurance premium based only on the remaining desired factors.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for assessing damage to a plurality of properties is provided. After an occurrence of an event that is a potential cause of insured losses, image data depicting an aerial view of the properties may be received from an aerial platform. The image data may be processed to determine a subsequent condition of each property after occurrence of the event. Further, a damage severity level may be determined for each property, and used to display a map depicting different regions having properties with different respective damage severity levels.

Abstract: Systems and methods for using image analysis techniques to assess unsafe driving conditions by a vehicle operator are discloses. According to aspects, a computing device may access and analyze image data depicting the vehicle operator. In analyzing the image, the computing device may measure certain visible metrics as depicted in the image data and compare the metrics to corresponding threshold values, and may accordingly determine whether the vehicle operator is exhibiting an unsafe driving condition. The computing device may generate and present alerts that indicate any determined unsafe driving condition.

Abstract: Systems and methods for analyzing image data to assess property damage are disclosed. According to certain aspects, a server may analyze segmented digital image data of a roof of a property using a convolutional neural network (CNN). The server may extract a set of features from a set of regions output by the CNN. Additionally, the server may analyze the set of features using an additional image model to generate a set of outputs indicative of a confidence level that actual hail damage is depicted in the set of regions.

Abstract: Provided herein is an engagement and care support platform (“ECSP”) computer system including at least one processor in communication with at least one memory device for facilitating senior user engagement. The processor is programmed to: (i) register a user through an application, (ii) register a caregiver associated with the user through the application, (iii) generate a senior profile based upon user personal and scheduling data, (iv) build a daily interactive user interface that reflects the senior profile, (v) display the daily interactive user interface at a first client device associated with the user, (vi) cause the first client device to initiate a daily interaction prompt to the user, (vii) determine whether any user interaction was received in response to the daily interaction prompt, and (viii) transmit a daily update message to a second client device associated with the caregiver, including an indication of whether any user interaction was received.

Abstract: A system and method for evaluating the performance and usage of a cognitive computing tool which answers questions from users. A log file for these interactions includes the questions, the answers and a confidence rating assigned by the tool to each answer. Questions and answers are analyzed to determine validity, accuracy, and categories by subject matter experts or text analytics tools, and the results are added to the log file. Comments and sentiments from users may be analyzed and added to the log file. Additional data about the users, such as identities, demographics, and locations, may be added. Data from the log file may be presented in a dashboard display as metrics, such as trends and comparisons, describing the usage and performance of the cognitive computing tool. Answers may be displayed as they were presented to the users. Selectable filters may be provided to control the data displayed.
