Abstract:
Movable partition systems include a vertical alignment structure including at least one roller element coupled to a portion of a movable partition and a ramp configured to abut against the at least one roller element to vertically align the portion of the movable partition to engage with a strike plate. Methods of vertically aligning the movable partition include coupling at least one vertical alignment structure to the movable partition including coupling at least one structural frame member to the movable partition and coupling the at least one roller element to the at least one structural frame member and installing at least one ramp to an overhead structure configured to abut the at least one roller element and vertically align a leading end of the movable partition.
Abstract:
A roller is essentially consisting of a resin composition that contains, as a base resin, a copolymer essentially consisting of a repeating unit expressed by a formula (i): where “a” denotes a number from 4 to 9, a repeating unit expressed by a formula (ii): and a repeating unit expressed by a formula (iii): where “b” denotes a number from 9 to 11, the roller being formed in an annular shape. In a roller device, the roller is arranged to cover an outer periphery of an outer ring of a rolling bearing that includes an inner ring, the outer ring, and rolling elements.

Abstract:
The disclosure relates to a garage door assembly. The garage door assembly includes a plurality of interconnected garage door panels, a track and a cable. A bracket assembly is attached to one of the panels. The bracket assembly includes a moveable member including a roller which is rotatably received in the track. A fixed member is attached to a panel and includes a portion to which the cable is attached. The moveable member selectively accommodates the fixed member.
Abstract:
A hinge for a hingedly movable sash in a window having a frame, including a track assembly having a track and a shoe engageable with the track and reciprocally movable along the track. The shoe presents a first rolling member at a first portion thereof and a bearing portion at a second portion. The shoe is shiftable between a window closed configuration in which the bearing portion contacts the track and transmits loads from the track to the sash arm and a window moving configuration in which the rolling member contacts the track and transmits loads from the track to the sash arm and rolls along the track as the shoe translates along the track.
Abstract:
A door opening and closing device for a slide door, which can be horizontally open and close the slide door by application of a light load and which can be constructed and maintained at low costs. The door opening and closing device has a transmission mechanism for converting through a lever (31) the amount of settlement of a tread plate (21) placed on floor surfaces at positions in front and back of the slide door (12), into a predetermined displacement amount. The tread plate (21) is weight-wise balanced such that the transmission mechanism and settlement of the tread plate due to the weight of an adjustment weight (W) causes the tread plate (21) to float through the lever (31). Up-down movement of the long transmission member (32) presses a drive rotation body (42) to an open door rail (41), and a component force of the pressing force allows the slide door (12) to be opened by application of a light load.
Abstract:
A roller unit comprises a connector assembly secured to a structure or to a door. The connector assembly comprises a spindle. The roller assembly has a wheel having a rolling-element bearing mounted to the spindle, and an annular wheel body mounted to the rolling-element bearing for rotation about the spindle. The annular wheel body has a pair of flanges separated by a groove on a circumferential surface of the annular wheel body. The circumferential surface defines a shape corresponding to the shape of an edge portion of the door or structure engaged in the annular wheel body. The connector assembly is connected to one of the door and the structure, while the wheel receives an edge portion of the other of the door and the structure, whereby the roller unit holds the door and structure face to face while allowing sliding movement of the door with respect to the structure by rotation of the wheel about the spindle. A sliding door system is also described.
Abstract:
A door closer is described, which has an output shaft, on which a cam disc is torsion-resistantly disposed, and has a pressure roller. By means of an operational connection, a closer spring presses the pressure roller against a running surface of the cam disc. In relation to an axial center of the output shaft, the pressure roller is disposed such that, during opening or closing of a swing leaf coupled to the output shaft, the pressure roller is movable along a path. Due to the fact that the path bypasses the axial center of the output shaft and on account of the configuration of the running surface of the cam disc, at a respective opening angle of the swing leaf, in different modes of operation of the door closer, a very similar or identical torque is respectively applied to the output shaft.
Abstract:
Trolley for a slidable cantilever gate comprising two L-shaped plates, each provided with a load-bearing wall and a base wall which is extended without interruption from the load-bearing wall by means of a substantially orthogonal fold. The load-bearing walls are rigidly connected by means of screws or rivets with the two base walls oriented in opposite directions so as to form a support base on ground. Each load-bearing wall is provided with two first through openings aligned with respective corresponding first openings of the other load-bearing wall so to jointly define two first seats adapted to house first rotatable support means for two pairs of support wheels; and with a second through opening aligned with that corresponding on the other load-bearing wall so to jointly define a second seat for receiving a guide wheel, rotatably supported by second rotatably support means. The load-bearing walls, moreover, are each provided with a first shape with concavity facing that of the other load-bearing wall in order to jointly define a first housing adapted to receive a fixing screw of the pin of the guide wheel, and a second shape with concavity facing that of the other load-bearing wall in order to jointly define a second housing, which communicates with a vertical guide defined in one of the first seats, and houses adjustment means operating on a slide which bears, pivoted, a pair of adjustable wheels, in order to adjust its vertical height.
Abstract:
The combined mechanism of roller and shaft has a roller provided with dust and moisture proof means at both surfaces thereof that contribute to smooth operation of the mechanism for prolonged lifespan. The hollow structure of the shaft results in saving the material and fabrication costs. The shaft is successfully divided into a pivot section and an axle section with the aid of dexterously designed collar ringing the shaft at its front end and a ferrule holding the roller which is hinged to the riveted tip of the pivot section. The collar and the ferrule make the mechanism universally applicable to sectionalized lift up door for various applications, such as garage or vehicle door without the need of preparing different sized shafts to meet individual specifications.
