Signage is provided on the door showing that the entrance cycle is initiated by the entrant stepping on a pedal, actuating an initial delay, allowing the entrant to comfortably step aside to clear the path of swinging of the door, while a second delay assembly provides for a delayed release of the drive wheel at an end of the opening cycle, to allow ergonomic passage, which allows the entrant to comfortably step through an open portal of the door before integrated closing devices close the door behind the entrant.

摘要: A safety rail monitoring system, and associated methods of operation, for monitoring use of a safety rail that borders a footpath to help prevent injuries while the user traverses the footpath. The safety system includes a sensor system for detecting the presence of a user on the footpath and the presence of a contact by the user on the safety rail. A sensor observation system in communication with the sensor system receives signals indicating whether the user is present on the footpath and whether the user is holding on to the safety rail. If the user is not holding on to the safety rail, the sensor observation system generates an alert signal to the user to remind the user to hold the safety rail. In some embodiments, the safety system may include a barrier that prevents the user from continuing along the footpath without contacting the safety rail.

The mounting bracket may include a first mounting surface disposed at a non-perpendicular angle relative to an exterior surface of carrier when the window balance assembly is in an uninstalled configuration. The first mounting surface may be substantially parallel to the exterior surface of the carrier when the window balance assembly is in an installed configuration and the mounting bracket is disengaged from the carrier.

摘要: A commercial vehicle used for parcel delivery is installed with a control module. The control module communicates wirelessly with a transmitter to give control to the vehicle operator. The vehicle operator can access the vehicle's cargo compartment through the bulkhead door and/or the rear door solely by using the transmitter as opposed to manually actuating the door latch. A door actuator is added to the bulkhead door such that when the bulkhead door is wirelessly actuated the door opens without operator assistance, and the process of the door opening does not damage the vehicle. Additionally, the vehicle operator can initiate the control module to allow a push-button start and stop of the vehicle's ignition system. Such elements contribute to time savings and cost savings for parcel delivery operators.

摘要: A support assembly for a barrier movable between open and closed positions over an opening comprises a track. The track is attached to the wall for guiding movement of the barrier between substantially vertical closed position and a substantially horizontal open position. A jack shaft assembly is attached to the track and to the barrier for movement thereof. 摘要: A gate structure is mounted for pivotal movement about a horizontal axis between a closed raised position and a lowered open position. A pair of operating mechanisms each include a horizontal member and a pair of support members. The horizontal members are pivotally connected at their medial portions to the gate structure. The opposite ends of each of the horizontal members are pivotally connected to one end of the associated support members which in turn have the opposite ends thereof mounted for pivotal movement about horizontal axes. Closing devices are connected to opposite sides of the gate structure for normally maintaining the gate structure in its closed raised position.

摘要: A mat monitor for an automatic swing door system is mountable in-line with an approach mat and a safety mat and the controller for the automatic door system. The monitor emits a visible light to indicate that a mat is properly operating without requiring that the door cycle through an opening/closing sequence. In one embodiment, a green light is illuminated to indicate that the approach mat is properly functioning and a red light is illuminated to indicate that a safety mat is properly functioning. The mat monitor is preferably mounted at the underside of the header adjacent to the controller.

摘要: A passenger cabin for an aerial cable railway or the like is constructed from outwardly convex panels connected at their adjoining edges by hollow profile sections. One sidewall of the cabin is equipped with a door. Sensing members of the cabin engage control members of the cable railway stations and transmit a control motion to a door actuation mechanism within the floor construction of the cabin. A crank operates a rocker arm which drives two connecting rods. Racks arranged on the connecting rods drive sector gears mounted on the cabin and cause pivot arms connected with each leaf of the door to pivot. The pivot arms cause the doors to translate along and pivot conjointly with guide rails hinged at their common center. The door leaves can therefore be flush with the sidewall of the cabin in the closed position and require a minimum of space in opening.

The automatic door operator includes a mechanism for opening and closing the swing door, a drive for driving the door opening and closing mechanism to open the swing door, the drive including a prime mover for driving the door opening and closing mechanism, a door closer including a resilient device for storing part of mechanical energy provided by the drive in opening the swing door and for exerting driving force on the door opening and closing means by using the stored mechanical energy to close the door, a unit for electrically controlling the drive to swing the swing door, and a sensor for sensing a body accessing the door and thereby providing an electric signal to open the door to the controlling unit.
