摘要： An instant freezer apparatus able to freeze consumable fluids and food having a freezing point lower than water is disclosed. The method of the present invention is directed to freezing of a substance such as to instantly freeze consumable fluids and food without altering their chemical compositions. The instant freezer apparatus generally comprises a main frame and a removable freezing module. The apparatus may further comprise a freezing fluid injection system such as a liquid carbon dioxide tank or a liquid nitrogen tank fluidly connected to the main frame. At least two freezing cells comprising the fluid to be frozen may be included, the freezing cells being independently removable from the freezing module and other freezing cells. A semi-flexible mat for receiving and supporting varying shapes of freezing cells may be included.

摘要： A system and method for training a classification module of nonverbal audio events and a classification module for use in a variety of nonverbal audio event monitoring, detection and command systems. The method comprises capturing an in-ear audio signal from an occluded ear and defining at least one nonverbal audio event associated to the captured in-ear audio signal. Then sampling and extracting features from the in-ear audio signal. Once the extracted features are validated, associating the extracted features to the at least one nonverbal audio event and updating the classification module with the association. The nonverbal audio event comprises one or a combination of user-induced or externally-induced nonverbal audio events such as teeth clicking, tongue clicking, blinking, eye closing, teeth grinding, throat clearing, saliva noise, swallowing, coughing, talking, yawning with inspiration, yawning with expiration, respiration, heartbeat and head or body movement, wind, earpiece insertion or removal, degrading parts, etc.

摘要： The present invention is directed to a system and method for installing seals on support frames. The system comprises, generally, a seal supply system, a guiding mechanism and a sealing mechanism. The supply system comprises two bobbins around which are disposed the sealing elements. The guiding mechanism comprises a plurality of guiding drive wheels adapted to guide the support frames towards the sealing mechanism which is adapted to seal the sealing element to the support frame. The sealing mechanism is adapted to exert continuously a constant pressure on the sealing element allowing it to fit to the correspondent support frame once being introduced to the sealing mechanism.

摘要： It is disclosed a pharmaceutical and/or phytosanitary composition comprising an aqueous extract of Chelidonium majus root and an acceptable pharmaceutical or phytosanitary excipient for the prevention or treatment of nail infections. The composition may further comprise an aqueous extract of Thuja occidentalis leaf; and from about 1 to 5% of at least one natural phenolic compound. The composition is efficient in the treatment of plant infection (mildew fungus, blight fungus, etc); the treatment of intumescence of a plant; the treatment of potatoes (powdery or common scab, Rhizoctonia, etc), and also allows a higher crop yield: without the use of a chemical fungicide. The composition also allows rapid treatment of fungus infection of nails.

摘要： A Pickering formulation for use as a pharmaceutical or cosmetic composition for regenerating skin cells, allowing reducing skin stretch marks on a human skin, or healing skin cells after a burn, such as a sunburn. The Pickering formulation comprises an emulsion of oil and water phases stabilized with an organic-modified natural physosillicate, such as hectorite, montmori-Uonite, or bentonite. The pharmaceutical or cosmetic composition can be free of primary emulsifier or primary surfactant reducing as such the toxicity of the composition for the skin. As such, the pharmaceutical or cosmetic composition may consist essentially of the Pickering formulation. Indeed, it is demonstrated that the Pickering formulation can act itself as an active ingredient of the pharmaceutical or cosmetic composition leading to significant skin cell regeneration. The invention is particularly useful for reduction of stretchmarks. The Pickering formulation also boosts the sun protection factor, or SFP, of sunscreen compositions.
